I'm not here to whine about people spreading the word about "folk your lore." Margaret Stohl is awful, I agree. It's important that people know Bungie are hiring neglectful writers but at this point the issue is very well known to regulars on the Lore forum. We get it, they're being shitty to the universe, but that doesn't mean we need to let their failings ruin our enjoyment of the world that Staten created out of the mess Bungie's management put him through. Destiny's lore community puts a lot of time and energy into their content. Despite the game's universe deserving better portrayal than Bungie gives it, the lore community eats up all of the content that they get and does its best to construct the awesome story behind the terrible games and careless writers. This is our hobby. We speculate on timelines and ponder the nuances of certain aspects of the Grimoire and argue about whether Oryx could potentially come back (hint, he won't.) We're not here to apologize for Bungie's failings, we do everything we can to refine the utter clusterf*ck of a timeline to understand the story. As a result, it's so disheartening to see people skipping over the content of long, well written lore posts to write replies that add literally nothing to the OP.
