<First, I'd like to state that the reason why "bad" is in quotations is because either I or someone else on this bloody rock may like them.
Anyway, I'm going to see Pacific Rim 2 in about 3 hours so I wanted to take the time and list a bunch of reasons as to why I watch movies that offer "nothing" and are absolutely "horrible". So watch and/or cringe as I VENT OFF things that I've seen and why I saw or still watch them for no good reason.
Alien vs Predator
- I like the (first 2) Alien movies
- I like the Predator movies
- I like watching shit kill each other on film
AvPR
- I like Aliens and Predators
- I like watching shit kill each other on film (left dissatisfied because I couldn't see shit)
Transformers (1986)
- I like the Transformers G1, cheesy as it is
- Turned out to be really good, pretty -blam!-ing violent, too
Bayformers 1
- I like watching shit explode
- Megan Fox is kinda hot
- Turned out to be kinda watchable
Bayformers 2
- Megan Fox is kinda hot
Bayformers 3
- Significantly darker than the others
- I like watching shit explode
- Even though he's wasted, Shockwave looks badass
Bayformers 5
- I like watching shit explode (AKA skip to the end)
Pacific Rim
- I like watching giant robots and giant monsters kick the shit out of each other
- Turned out to have a decent story
If you have any other movies that are "bad" but you will watch/have watched anyway, please list them. I'm interested.>

You calling AvP bad? Alright I know requiem was dark as shit and the humans were annoying but cmon....wolf was a beast. The first AvP however I thoroughly enjoyed

I'm with you on Pacific Rim. It's so bad, but it's so awesome at the same time (let me know what the new one's like). And is it me or does Charlie Hunnam seem to pop up everywhere these days? Others... Edge of Tomorrow. I actually think it's a pretty good film. Not amazing but I love it for what it is. Many don't...but end of the day, if nothing else, Emily Blunt Elysium. Fun sci-fi. I like fun sci-fi. Oblivion. As above (odd that's the second Tom Cruise movie, and I generally don't like him), but also with a brief appearance from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (I think that was the first time I recognised him in something outside of GoT) Passengers. Yeah I know, there's a theme here. I got some real sht off some of my mates for recommending this, but screw them, I liked it. Except the whole swimming pool bit, which annoyed me cos science. Trollhunter. It's found footage (urgh) but I thought it was pretty creepy for a film in that genre that was very different from the usual ghost/UFO/bigfoot etc approach. Sharknado. Cos...you know...sharks in a tornado. And it's so funny. Mega Python Vs. Gataroid. Right, I know, but seeing Tiffany and Debbie Gibson fighting in a swamp, then stopping and Tiffany saying 'I think we're alone now', followed by Debbie Gibson saying 'there doesn't seem to be anyone around' was pure vintage cheddar, the likes of which we rarely see.

PR was good, but under appreciated

Enders game. Bombed hard, still found it a good movie. John Carter. Same as Enders game. Looper. Flawed time travel perspective but still a decent watch. (Not sure how well the movie did.) Chappie. Really stupid things in the movie but I enjoyed it. Bombed aswel.
