The go fast update left sprint speed untouched or got buffed so weak that it's unnoticeable from before the update. I have everything on my Hunter put into mobility and I can basically do moon jumps but just like on the moon I move way too slow.
Please fix this. A place in between warlocks super dash speed and titanskating speed would be nice.

Scroll speed. Move too fast and you can outrun the game’s ability to load new asserts.
-
It has to do with loading assets. If they increase player speed too much you would be stuck with a loading circle on the screen everytime you came to a new loading zone. It already happens to some players when riding a sparrow or sprinting into a loading zone.
-
Because walking around mercury with your friends is fun
-
Because you're already going fast when you sprint.
-
Sprints speed should be affected
-
Sprint speed wasn’t any faster on d1.
-
Because Bungie is listening
-
No, sprint speed was never the issue. In a firefight you aren't constantly sprinting around, you're walking/strafing from side to side avoiding fire and trying to reach in and out of cover. Walking/Strafing speed was increased, and they increased the speed you can get while utilizing your jumps at the right time. This is what we needed. I don't think mobility was ever supposed to increase your overall sprint speed, just your walking/strafing. There is no reason to increase sprint speed, I bet it's just as fast as it was in D1. And even if it's not, it's fine where it is.
-
Because they're incompetent, don't have to be a rocket surgeon to figure that out.
-
My understanding is that the speed increase was only for super speed (arcstrider, first of havok) and waking speed - they did not increase every day sprint speed
-
That would take another 3 months

Edited by BoomboxCollosus: 3/31/2018 2:42:31 PMIronically the so called 'go fast' update doesn't ACTUALLY make you go faster. Did anybody seriously NOT exspect, yet another, epic letdown? If you didn't.... yeah I'm sorry...but you're dumb. I play the game occassionally to pass time but you can't seriously believe these liars are ever gonna make good or be honest and up front after all this. They don't even have the time to pull their pants up in between lies, letdowns and out and out exploitation controversies. If Bungie were a person they'd be in jail by now.
-
Hunters should get a sprint buff, but nobody else
-
No one in destiny just loves to sprint around, it’s always about the boosts so that’s what they buffed
-
Because sprint has nothing to do with mobility lol

Edited by Malacite: 3/31/2018 7:44:57 PMMy guess would be some combination of laziness & server load issues/draw distance. It really is baffling that Mobility doesn't affect Sprint Speed, I mean it would only make sense right? But Bungie and logic just don't mix these days, otherwise they wouldn't have gutted literally 3 years of improvements and maybe, just maybe, might have taken a few hints from their competition (especially Diablo 3) on how to make a good looter. But I mean, look at how crappy Armor still is as well - it does practically nothing in terms of HP/defense, which is straight BS. This is something that's quite frankly pissed me off since the launch of D1, how those 3 attributes really don't do a whole lot other than Recovery, which itself is kind of wonky as well (personally I'd love it if it affected your regen delay over speed or at least be given an option on which to boost with it). It all just comes back to how shallow of an RPG experience Destiny is and always has been. As a shooter it's mostly OK, balance issues aside - but as a looter/RPG? Abysmal failure. Don't even try to argue that point, because there are too many other games out there that set much higher standards with again, D3 really being at the top it's seriously crazy the amount of stuff you can tweak in that game. Warframe probably comes in at a close 2nd and then it's a tossup between The Division and Borderlands as both have a different take on things and have aspects I take issue with (though I absolutely adore Massive for introducing a way to directly increase an item's strength so you're not forced anymore to hunt for a higher roll of an already perfect item, you can just use Division Tech to raise its stats now.) At least D1 attempted to give us some semblance of a proper skill tree, these preset paths in D2 are a slap in the face. I'm pretty sure even a 5th grader would find it too simple/boring.
-
Dude, they haven't allowed us to sprint whenever we want since D1 started (minus that one iron lord thing which made it a special ability). I wouldn't hold your breath on this one, sprinting in Destiny is treated as a privilege
-
Sprint speed was affected in the go fast update and personally I can definitely feel it. I love the new crucible.
-
I'm interested in them changing the field of view and seeing how many people will praise the increase in sprint speed.
-
Sprinting is hard.
-
Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU

Exactly, I concurr fellow guardian

You mean the community asked for something and you didn’t get it?? Wow just wow, I’m shocked.
-
Because Harvey Weinstein is on holidays.
-
it's because Bungie doens't like you ! you should realize it by now !, 95% of your time is spent in Destiny 2 sprinting ! of course they will never address that ! they don't respect any of their actual paying customers !
-
your asking too much of Bungie ! but no worries they just realized now there's an actual sprint function in their shooter and 95% of player use it lol another 6month wait
