I came across a scary realization after all the time i spent playing Destiny 1 + 2. The ghost has the exact same personality type as Spongebob Squarepants. Yeah, i know it sounds ridiculous but picture it for just a second. Imagine if you took spongebob with you on the backseat of your journey in Destiny. Imagine what he might say. Then compare that to the ghost's commentary and tell me its not at all different. Vice versa of that i could totally see the ghost yelling for squidward and patrick in the same way without it breaking character. I absolutely hate the way the ghost was re-written given his new voice actor since Destiny 1's replacement of Peter Dinklage as the original. He was much more sophisticated.
