An option for solo players to join up for a Nightfall at the end of heroic strikes. Game Design Mechanics: [i]During the reward screen[/i]> "Sign up and run this week's nightfall with your new fireteam?" [Hold Button] [i]After a few seconds, if the other players haven't chosen to leave or signup after the first player's signup[/i] > "A player in your fireteam is recruiting you to join them in this week's nightfall. Would you like to join them in a (normal) nightfall strike?" [Hold Button] [i]If 3/3 members signup for the strike, the strike will automatically load the fireteam into the nightfall activity.[/i] [i]After the normal nightfall matchmaking is completed, another reward screen prompt is shown.[/i] "You have bested the normal nightfall. Your fireteam is worthy. Signup for the prestige nightfall; increase your high score and receive greater chances at the nightfall exclusive reward?" [Hold Button] [i]Same conditions as before[/i]> "A member of your fireteam is recruiting you to join their fireteam for a prestige nightfall run. Join them; best your chances at topping your high score and receive greater chances at the nightfall exclusive reward (Communication is recommended during this activity)." [Hold Button] [i]If 3/3 members signup for a prestige strike, they will be placed in a prestige nightfall lobby.[/i] [u]Prestige Nightfall Matchmaking Voting System[/u] - [i]Unique to this lobby, all players will be given voting opportunity to adjust the lobby scorecard modifiers. [/i] [i]After the first vote, players will adjust the power level handicap in 5 second intervals or until required votes are cast.[/i] [i]5 sec interval[/i] > "Vote to adjust the power handicap. Two or more votes are needed to increase or decrease the power handicap. Vote to go lower or higher. Casting no votes after 5 seconds will lock the selection." [choose increase handicap or decrease handicap] [i]Repeat voting intervals on power handicap modifier until no votes are cast and/or the selection is locked.[/i] [i]Move to Singe Modifier[/i]> "20 seconds has been allotted. Vote on the singe element that will be applied to the nightfall. Two or more votes are needed to lock a selection. After 20 seconds, if no element singe has met the required votes, no Singe will be applied to the nightfall activity."[Choose No Modifier, Arc, Solar, or Void] [i]After voting, the fire team will be given 2 minutes to adjust Loadouts and Subclass accordingly. [/i] > "You have been given time to adjust Loadouts; confirm when ready. Once 3/3 members have confirmed they are ready or 2 minutes is up, subclass and Loadouts will lock and the activity will start." Enjoy the your prestige nightfall! Note: Designating a fireteam leader among strangers, has an increase chance that the leader will select modifiers the other players may not want to do or do not have the right gear to complete the activity.
