PVE should learn from PVP

Hear me out. The Hive don't feel bloodthirsty... The Fallen don't feel scared... The Cabal don't feel confident... And the Vex... well... They just walk at you very slowly. They certainly don't feel intelligent. In PVP you feel fear because you know other players are just like you and they want to win. They are blood thirsty, they are intelligent and they are confident. It makes winning feel like an accomplishment. PVP in most games is so replayable to the people who enjoy it because its a challenge, it's exhilarating, and it pushes you to be at your best all the time. I think PVE in Destiny 2 is lacking that intensity. I believe Bungie have strayed too far from the path of intelligent AI. If you can make the enemies in PVE feel like they are intelligent, like they are legitimate beings in the universe of the game who wants to live and kill you then you have created a PVE experience with the addictive trait of PVP. Destiny 2 feels stale because anything outside the raid is easy. Even in the raid the enemies are dumb sponges who are only there to get in the way of the real enemy which is the mechanics. The conditions that kill you in the raids are the enemies. It's especially noticeable on PC. If you can create a PVE experience that forces people to flickshot on PC because of how intense the game is then you have created something spectacular. I've only felt this from Doom on nightmare difficulty. If you aren't quick enough you will die TO the monsters because the way some of them maneuver is unpredictable. They might fire two fireballs at you and run away, climb onto a wall and throw some more... Or they'll run away first and mid sprint throw three fireballs... Two of which is enough to kill you at the start of the game. That is intense. Destiny 2 PVE outside of the raid and nightfall feels like Pokemon Snap at this point. Thanks for reading.
