Hopefully, they will have an area trigger, similar to the white-outlined circle that you have enter to be start the timer on a public event, to prevent people from exploiting the work of other players. There is probably a way to code it so they can apply a tag to each player to qualify for loot. The way it works currently, only one person has to enter the circle to start a public event, and other players just have to be able to put a round on an enemy in the public event. But, with the potential for exploiting a much more involved activity with its own loot table, Bungie really needs to prevent people from screwing over the players who actually take the time to do the event. For months, we have all been complaining the game is too easy. Now you happily suggest an exploit to make it even easier. Not cool. Too bad the mobs will probably be on a short tether or someone could pull a few dozen exploding hive over your way.
