Anyone else not having fun as a solo player?
Anyone else not having as much fun as a single player? I feel like I used to be able to hop in and feel like I accomplished something each time I logged in, but now its feels like im wasting my time. Havent had much luck or motivation to do the raids. I only play solo cause the 10 people or so I could rely on, to play with, gave up on the game. Its probably just me, but was just curious. I really wish they had match making for the content.

Amazed at the responses guys! I just wanted to clarify that yes, I understand that I could use LFG or play a different game (which I do) its just that this game isnt as friendly towards the solo player. I used to have 2 groups of people to play with but they all became jilted by the game and quit. Im essentially the last guy holding out for this game still. Haha. The biggest issue right now I have is loot progression, and something to chase. Like a grasp of malok with the perfect role! LOVE heroic strikes feeling Heroic. I just wish there was a carrot to chase there like in D1. Thanks again for all the responses.

1 ReplyWell seeing as destiny is not designed for solo players maybe join a clan, lfg, guided games or find a solo game you enjoy. But I agree this game still sucks.

Does a solo player mean someone who doesn't do raids and group crucible once in a while?

i occasionally play solo now and then and play with some friends ... though the raid is lack luster due to the fact that they have just recycled content rather then spit out new equipment to get people inspired into getting back into the game the DLC feels almost rushed i was looking forward to trying escalation protocol but sadly not the required light level either and the fact they have decided to power level block those who don't do raids or trial's having to rely on milestone each week only discourages people to come back its a shame i love destiny but to say to turn it into a social hobby and then falling back to a second job ... answers a lot of question if they continue down this road they will be losing a good portion of the community and with strikes only being useful for milestone's no one want to play something if they are not going to progress if i recall bungie was leaning towards a friendly game not this... The developer wants Destiny 2 to feel like a fresher, friendlier, and more social game, everything the original was meant to be. “We have a saying, ‘Making it easier to find the fun,’” says Chung. Bungie hopes this extends through every element of the game. Tbh, I wish I could raid but my clan does them at absurd f*cking hours (When I’m in bed and it’s mainly a EST clan.) So, at this point I’m pretty much stuck to the milestones and it sucks.

it does feel that way, but I did have fun soloing all the story missions and luckily had few strangers to play strike, despite being wiped 5 times, and they stayed which is rare. Otherwise not looking forward to strikes so far and other activities other than some milestones.

I don't really like the raid. I've done it, a few times on XB, and once now that I've switched to PC. But it's just not that fun. I'm ok with nightfall LFG, and it's short enough so I'll do that. So I guess I'll do my milestones on each character and that'll be it for the week.
