For a start you do realise that Bungie is anti solo player that they hate us so dam bad that they make an effort to make it even harder to do anything or to get anything so they can kick us off like we are some sort of leper. That why they back people who do raids & pvp only & for the rest of us we just get the scraps. Far as I’m concerned all players should be treated equally and that Bungie should stop supporting a minority over the entirety of the community
Edit: for those who like to troll get a life I’am not paranoid I’am not stupid I was just stating a fact and before you passed me off as some Newby guess again I’m a veteran solo player that has stuck with this game right from its beginning so go troll someone else and if Bungie can’t take the criticism that it should change its way it does business

Im not complaining...you are actually...about mm... Im saying the best course of action for the entire playerbase, not just you...not just me..everyone would be for optional mm...you can either choose to utilize it or not...but you have a choice in game It dosent affect anyone who chooses either option negatively

They already have optional mm. There’s guided games (which I admit is shit) but much more useable is the forums/LFG. They’re easy to use, and you get to choose who you trust to partner up with. So what do you need matchmaking for?

Guided games arent matchmaking, they were bungies attempt to get.more people playing end level by hooking them up with sherpas And it failed horribly And lfg removes the immersion from the game world, its kind of nonsensical if you think about it logically, in order to find someone to assist you in game you have to leave the game and go somewhere else Hiw many multiplayer games out there have lfg features in game, its common sense ..if you want to promote a social aspect to your game world, you have to realistically provide a way to matchmake Not trying to be rude here, but it sort of sounds like you are against a common sense idea for no other reason than you dont like it so no one else should have it In game mm would be a bonus for everyone, you included

I’m against this mm idea because it removes player choice on who they’re going to play with. Using forums/LFG gives you massive control over your experience. If I’m in a mood to just speed run a raid, I can find other people that want that. If I’m down to hangout for a while and teach someone, I can find people to do that with. It’s a perfect system, and the only argument against it is “well I have to leave the game to do it” which firstly is a dumb argument, and secondly isn’t even true. You can use those services on your phone, while continuing to do strikes/whatever while you wait.

You can use those services on your phone? Is your phone on the game? Do you play the game on your phone? If do not then you have to use an outside source i.e leave the game to utilize them. And if you choose not to matchmake in an OPTIONAL matchmaking system and go in with a hand picked team, how does it affect or take anything away from you
