I remember stopping by VOG and helping people out at the plates and getting invited to fill a fireteam.
That is how destiny was supposed to work. It was a cooperative game built around the concept of light vs. darkness. Not “must be a buddy of mine, have 12 prestige completions of the raid” vs. the darkness.
The whole clan reward for nothing conept seemed directed at the younger generation of gamers who play for loot. If there aren’t pretty immediate rewards, they don’t want to play. It’s why Fortnite does so well. You are constantly picking up gear. It’s what people look for in games.
In house matchmaking could work. Will it be a pain in the ass? Yep. But it could work. Make it optional and everything is fine.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
