The game wasn’t really made for solo players. Join a good active clan.

Actually it was made for solo players. Just not EVERYTHING in the game is soloable.

Sorry but that's a bullshit answer. I played D1 solo for all 3 years. Occasionally hooking up with a few friends or my kids. D1 was fine for Solon players.

If you're a solo player...you have access to 5. The only game in recent memory whose progression system was this lopsided was The Division in Year 1. ...and it led to 98% of the player base leaving the game. Tip of the hat to Bungie , though, in acknowledging in TWAB yesterday that this is a problem....and they are working on fixes.

So I just read the twab. Other than Crucible fireteam matchmaking I'm not sure which statements show an Improvement in solo progression per say. Maybe in the improvements in Heroic strike rewards etc. I guess we'll see. I'm going to play more this weekend. Still getting my second character through the campaign (to which I'm also doing CoO campaign which I know ever did on 1). I'll talk to my kids who have been among all wee as well.

Its the Heroic strike rewards changes. Its basically means that---if you're grinding that strike playlist----every 3-5 strikes you get an additional "Powerful gear" drop up to Power level 360 (365 with mods). The fact that its a matchmade activity and can be completed without team communication, is a good step (imo) towards bridging the gap in access to loot between raiders and solo players. As well as the fact that the game quickly runs out of things to do to vertically progress your character once you complete the Milestones. The biggest thing though was their admission that this is simply an INTERIM step---for the purposes of troubleshooting intended changes. So this is not a "final step"...and they are not happy with the situation either.

Agreed on this, i think the best thing to do is stop playing when youre a solo player and check in again in september. It could give Bungie a big scare though , there are probably more soloplayers around then Bungie think there are.

Well I"m glad they're looking at it. I couldn't really see them dismissing solo play. For as much as they 'encourage' Clans and teaming up it would be really dumb to break solo play. May 29th is a good time frame for me for the Heroic Strike change. I should have at lest 2 characters properly leveled to deal with them by then.

Lol ok buddy. I'm not the one who getting triggered here. Your comment is a common one on the forums so it's not personal but you've taken it that way. It's still a bullshit answer whether it's from you or someone else. I'm not being defensive I'm simply clarifying my position to an emotional poster who took a comment as a personal attack. Telling people who can't or don't want to join a clan is a bullshit response and has ways been. You want to take that as a personal hit that's on you.

I must hate solo players because I didn’t pick up your pitchfork and torch? I use to be a solo player, but found its easier to run endgame stuff with friends, better yet a clan full of now friends. So thanks for all you’re prejudging before knowing the facts.
