It is. I stopped playing D2 to play the Division after the 1.8 patch, and put a good 900 hours into it.
Right now is a solid time for anyone to get back in. New Global Event starts Monday.

Are the dlc worth the money? I got the vanilla game on sale. Quite liked it. The environments aren’t really beautiful like Destiny though.

As a PvE player, I would say the Underground is worth it. The other two not so much.
