I know that Bungie has hurt us time and time again, I’ve been there, I resented them for awhile. But Warmind brought me back because I thought it was a somewhat good expansion and I saw that they had potential for a resurgence. After seeing Forsaken i am extremely hyped, probably more than I should be. They listened to the massive backlash and decided to fix it, and improve the game. I for one am very hopeful.
I feel like a vast majority of problems with the grind and stuff to do from reset to reset we’re dealt with. I’m genuinely giddy seeing everything that they are going to add. Random Rollls, Gambit, old raid style, weapon slot customization, new enemies, etc.
(But they should have already been in the game!)
Shut up.
Bungie tried something new and messed up, they’re trying to learn from their mistakes, cut them some slack.
People are whining about the price tag aswell. I just find this stupid. Sure, they owe us a little for the slightly lackluster dlcs but 40 for a taken king size expansion isn’t bad, consider buying a movie ticket, soda, and popcorn late night, that’s gonna be like $18 for 2-3 hours of entertainment.
Now for twice that you can get 10s of 100s of hours of possible enjoyment for 40, and the annual pass is just 3 $10 dlcs for $30. Not that bad a deal.
I get why the haters still bash Bungie, they did drop the ball and they owe us players something. But please, if your going to nonsensically wine about the price and act entitled then leave the community. I’m sure me and many others won’t miss you when September 4th rolls around.
Thanks for reading this hopeful article from a blind fanboy.
