A hooded figure holding a scythe stands in front of a portal of some sort. It glows white, and it swirls around in a shape of an oval. Trees surround it, and above it is a starry sky. A giant moon orbits in the distance, its white light bringing life to the sky. The hooded figure is surrounded by a team of eleven, each member carefully eyeing the portal. Cell-3 begins to step towards the portal, each foot creating a fresh footprint inside the muddy ground. TotallyNotThor pushes past the hooded figure, deatheater, and he walks next to Cell-3...
“So... the team has decided that we’re going to go in?” Says the Druid in a worried yet consistent tone.
Cell-3 nods, his green eyes now staring at the team behind him as he begins to turn around...
“We as a team have decided that we will enter the portal and defeat the rift keeper. Keep your guard up. Rifts could contain anything that you can think of, and even things that you can’t think of. Hopefully we get this done on time. Everyone, follow my lead...” Says the robot, turning towards the portal once again as he finishes his briefing.
Artemis begins to walk next to Deatheater, holding his shoulder as they both head into the portal in front of them. Deatheater looks towards Artemis, and she begins to speak...
“You never told me what the ring does...”
Deatheater laughs heartily, and he stares at her with red eyes...
“You’ll find out...”
And with that, the duo walks into the portal along with the rest of the team. The forested area is now rid of the team, only housing the white cosmic portal. The sounds of nature eventually fill the air, and morning begins to make its debut.

A man in a formal dress suit can be seen, fashioning a tuxedo. He was of a slim build, and navy blue dress pants covered his legs. Black dress shoes adorned his feet. A badge could be seen pinned to his dress shirt, with the words “OAFL” etched into it neatly and cleanly. His hair was trimmed short on his neck, but it was of greater density on top of his face, sloping upwards. Gel could be seen gleaming off of his hair. He had a relatively thin beard, and he sighed as he looked around his office, eyeing all his trophies and laptops and computers. He closed his eyes to take in the peace.
A ripple in the cosmos is heard, a sound almost comparable to the ripping of paper. The figure falls to the floor, surprised. He looks towards the entrance of his office to see a white portal. His blue eyes widen as he stares into it. It was nothing like he had seen before. Then, twelve figures walked out of it, each following one another. He backed up against the glass wall behind him, staring at the portal. He eyed each figure as they walked through. He kept his gaze fixed on a robot of some sort. After a few seconds, twelve figures stood in the room in a horizontal manner. The robot began to speak in a very unusual tone as the group of twelve settled down...
“Hello, young sir. My name is Cell-3. It seems that we have stumbled across your dimension. Mind introducing yourself?”
Suddenly, the young man stood up, his eyes wide with surprise...
“Cell-3... is that really you? Hoster of the Horde Mode Matches?” He said in an excited yet controlled tone.
Cell-3 looked back at him with a confused stare...
“What matches are you talking-“ Cell-3 stopped mid-sentence as he laid his eyes upon the man’s badge. His eyes flickered green for a few seconds, until the robot was overwhelmed with familiarity...
“RunnerGunner... is that really you?”
And with that, the man rushed up towards the robot and immediately started to greet him. Cell-3 smiles as RunnerGunner shakes his hand. ManofLight stares at them, with confusion. Phoenix begins to speak out of boredom...
“So...mind explaining all this to us?”
Cell-3 stops the greetings and looks at the team. He begins to talk in a happy tone...
“This is RunnerGunner, leader of the OAFL arena fights. In the OAFL, people compete in an arena to fight for fun and for glory. I run the Horde Mode side of OAFL. We know each other quite well.”
“Sounds sweet. Where do we sign up?” Says ManofLight as he looks around the room, his shadowy gaze darting from object to object.
Cell-3 begins to shake his head...
“Not the time to sign up. We have to find the Rift Keeper. RunnerGunner, I promise I’ll explain everything to you later, but right now, we need to know if you’ve seen any big baddies around here lately...”
RunnerGunner suddenly put on a look of fear...
“There’s been a new competitor who entered the arena just recently. He’s been winning against every opponent I throw at him. He’s starting to scare me, and it seems that he has a Pegasus as his outer animal...”
MagicSpaceKitty starts to speak out of curiosity and confusion...
“Pardon me, but... What is an Outer Animal?”
As RunnerGunner began to speak, Cell-3 rushed in front of him and quickly let out a few words...
“You’ll find out soon enough. Right now we have to find this guy. Where is he?”
Cell-3 begins to look around until RunnerGunner points towards the glass wall behind him. Behind it a circular arena can be seen, with a huge figure in the middle of it, hulking over the obstacles littered all over the ground. It holds a giant bow with a tactical look, sporting multiple strings and a scope, along with a huge arrow. It seems to fold out as he readies it. A small scythe-like weapon with intricate designs on the black handle could be seen on its hip. An ebony sword could be seen on its back, sheathed and stylish. It was fashioned with stone-carved vines wrapped around the handle, and the head of a snake could be seen at the end of the handle. The figure itself was adorned in gladiator armor, with golden shin guards, gauntlets, and a face mask. The face mask seemed similar to a golden skull of some sort. A golden chest plate could be seen, and beneath the armor pieces was white silky fabric. Cell-3 looked at it intently, figuring out a way to get to it. Suddenly ImmaDrizzit started to rushing towards the glass wall, pushing past RunnerGunner. He charged into it, his shoulder in front of him, and Cell-3 looks behind him, only to see the Paladin’s helmet getting closer and closer until the shattering of glass is heard. Cell-3 and ImmDrizzit fall down onto the Arena’s barren ground, dust flying up as they land with a thump. Cell-3 uses his remaining hand to get up, and he stares at the figure in the arena, eyeing it with anger. The rest of the team lands silently behind them. RunnerGunner whistles, and a white wolf charges out of the office building and jumps into the arena alongside TotallyNotThor. The Druid looks beside him and smiles as he strokes its white flowing fur. The wolf howls in response. The giant gladiator figure approaches the team. Cell-3’s eyes widen in slight fear as he sees the figure getting closer. It seemed to be no more than thirteen feet tall. It gripped its bow tightly in one hand, and in the other was a rocket arrow. It stops right in front of Cell. The robot could feel the figure’s breath brush against his hardware...
“You have made a grave mistake...” It says in a deep and dark voice as its skull mask stares down at Cell-3.
Suddenly it throws a punch at Cell, sending him flying into a wooden wall surrounding the arena. Diana rushes towards him, and ImmaDrizzit yells out...
“End this Dark scum!”
The Paladin charges for the Rift Keeper’s legs, while deatheater and ManofLight dash towards its back. Phoenix Sends flaming balls of fire directly at its face, staggering it. Artemis shoots an arrow at its shoulder. The arrow’s tip barely grazes the Rift Keeper. It swats ImmaDrizzit away From its legs, sending the Paladin tumbling across the ground. ManofLight returns to his visible form, and he stabs his knife into the Rift Keeper’s leg. It winces as it knocks ManodLight back with a strike from its fist. Deatheater jumps up and lifts his scythe above him as he prepares to do some severe damage, but he finds himself flying and tumbling back as he is struck. The figure readies its bow. As it pulls the arrow back, the bow produces a whirring noise. It peers through its scope, and it shoots at TotallyNotThor, Who is rallying his injured teammates. The arrow zooms through the air in less than a second and digs into TotallyNotThor’s chest. He staggers back, until he hears a beeping. He looks at the arrow, and suddenly an explosion is heard as he is thrown up by the explosion. He lands on the ground, groaning. Blood pours out of his chest. Diana leaves the now recovered Cell-3 to tend to the Druid’s wounds. MagicSpaceKitty yells out frantically as she summons lightning to strike the Rift Keeper...
