I don't know who the armor design lead is over there at Bungie, but stop, just stop. Whoever is approving these designs needs to be replaced by a Titan main, or at least be heavily advised by one. Titan's are not trash collectors, they don't lather themselves with honey and jump into a pile of junk and call it armor, so stop making them look like it.
We don't want GIGANTIC shoulders, we don't want skintight chest pieces that don't match the shoulders, and we want helmets that look unique and cool. and for the love of all that is good stop making us skip leg day (looking at you Peacekeepers). AT THE VERY LEAST be consistent!
Stop slapping cubes and spheres on our shoulders and calling it a day. Bring back the designers from D1, bring back the design lead from D1, There was so much more good options in D1, most everything flowed nicely, you could mix and match and still look decent. If you mix and match in D2 you end up having harsh transitions and it's not appealing!
Armor Pieces that (in my personal opinion) look decent in D2: (underlined is my current armor set)
[b]Helmets:[/b] [u][armory]Winterhart Helm[/armory][/u], [armory]Iron Truage Helm[/armory](OG), [armory]Annihilating Helm[/armory], [armory]Helm of Saint-14[/armory](D1 so duh), [armory]Midnight Exigent Helm[/armory]
[b]Arms:[/b] [u][armory]Iron Truage Gauntlets[/armory](OG)[/u], [armory]Omega Mechanos Gauntlets[/armory], [armory]Midnight Exigent Gauntlets[/armory]
[b]Chest:[/b] [u][armory]BrayTech Iron-Heart Engine[/armory][/u], [armory]Exodus Down[/armory], [armory]Omega Mechanos Plate[/armory], [armory]Phoenix Strife Type 0[/armory]
[b]Legs:[/b] [u][armory]Peacekeepers[/armory](but could be beefier)[/u], [armory]BrayTech Sn0Boots[/armory], [armory]Dunemarchers[/armory](Love the design, hate the perk)
[b]Marks:[/b] [u][armory]Mark Relentless[/armory][/u], [armory]Midnight Exigent Mark[/armory](wish it was longer), [armory]Winterhart Mark[/armory]
What a short list! You can see that there are certain sets that look good.
So whoever designed these sets, good job! Put them up on the board and stare at them for hours and then compare the new designs and say "do these new designs have elements of these armor pieces?" and if they don't TRY AGAIN!
The Forsaken armor (the little that we've seen) looks like the downfall of all Titan armor as we know it. It is the definition of "Throw a bunch of junk from a scrapyard together and call it armor"
I desperately hope Bungie changes their design philosophy for Titans in D2. Titan's want to look just as fabulous as Hunters, but with a focus on looking cool and awesome. Make the "tank" character actually look good, sharp angles, good transitions between armor, none of this "basic shapes" nonsense! Please, PLEASE. I want to feel cool! I want to feel like a Titan! Not your definition Bungie!
Edit: A few people don't like that I'm speaking for Titans as a whole, but what I can tell you that if you are a Titan and you like the current aesthetic of Titan armor, you are the minority. As seen by the multitude of up-votes on this post. I'm really glad there are people that do like how Titan's look now, but understand that a large majority of Titans do not.

Edited by HaouRyuk: 6/24/2018 6:37:23 PMTitans should be well armed and armored sure, but the gigantic armor of Destiny 2 is just stupid looking to me, (I think it's the second raid armor) looks like a fat ass dung beetle...WAY too big and bulky, looks like the Titan's just been sitting around the Tower all day hanging around the noodle shop too often...But I agree, these dumb MASSIVE pauldrons are just silly, (lucky is a game, good luck moving in that crap for real) Also, maybe it's just me but the female armor seems to have gone, a lot of the chest plates are mostly flat (No, Not asking for breast plates, but a little building outward to show you're not a man would be nice) Female Titans for the most part just look like skinny males. I get that Titans are supposed to be the great defenders, walking tanks, but that doesn't mean they have to be stupidly massive (if anything that would just make them slower, bigger targets) Weirdly some Warhammer assassins have a more Titan, Hunter and Warlock feel to them than Destiny does, meanwhile the Titans go the way of the space marine with their huge ass shoulders But I'll be honest (and this is why i wish ALL armor was able to upgrade) From D1 to D2, I usually end up liking the blue armor for each class better than 70% of the purples, I don't understand why the design team does fairly well with blues and then drops the ball on purple trying to make them almost "too special" sure, make them more unique, more and better detail, better color patterns and what not, but stay with the themes you've been working with for the rest of the game.
