I know I'm not.
Seriously, I've been onboard since D1 day 1, and of all the things that have been done in/to this franchise, changing the faction rallies into a one week grindfest is easily my least favorite.
We went from competing with one another to get some decent gear, and rep our favorite factions, to being forced to grind for an exotic catalyst, OR ELSE, especially since Bungie has put in the descriptions for these items that they are seasonal rewards, but has yet to come forwards and tell us whether these items will be added to the RNG loot pool once the season is over.
I'm okay with missing out on an armor skin, or an emblem, because I have other responsibilities besides games, but basically having to devote 10-12 hours of what is usually only one day off to a repetitive, mindless grind in order to unlock a limited-time item that actually affects gameplay is just insane.
Personally, I think you should either still be able to grind tokens and contribute to your personal faction ranks during victory week, or the long-term, high-rank items should be obtainable outside of the rallies to give those who have more to do than just play games all day a chance at getting those rewards.
After all, what point is there in "bringing back the hobby" if all the good stuff is only available for one week, or even one season? If there's no realistically obtainable long term goals, there's almost no point in putting yourself through the grind required to obtain them.
