Possibly The Reason Why Uldren Is Using Barons To Resurrect Fallen.

From a recent Bungie interview, we know that the Scorn are basically Fallen zombies, resurrected endlessly with new powers that regular Fallen don’t have. What else do we know in the Destiny universe that can resurrect and have enhanced powers? That’s right mofos.
Us baby.
Using the power of the Light and the Traveler, Guardians can, with their Ghost, be revived countless times. They also have greatly enhanced space-magic powers. From what we know, the guy in charge of the Skorn’s resurrection is the Baron named “The Fanatic”, not to be confused with an exploding Vex. We don’t know where his powers come from, but we do have some clues. An obvious Taken presence in the Dreaming City. A Fallen Baron coming out of an ascendant portal with a Hive boomer. A Fallen Drew that looks like it went through the same process as a Thrall turning into an Ogre. And supposedly, according to Byf, some enemies with “Xivu” after their name. Also note, Eris is a friend and possibly agent to Mara Sov, the sister of Uldren Sov, the main antagonist so far seen. So, I think there is a long shot possibility that we could see Xivu Arath, possibly Savathûn, or just another powerful Hive working behind the scenes in the Forsaken DLC. So what can we take from this? Both Guardians and the Skorn were once members of civilizations enlightened by the Traveler. Both civilizations were ruined by the [REDACTED]. Both were reborn, and both have the ability to resurrect countless times and have powers their predecessors didn’t. So? We have a lot more in common with the Skorn that I think most would like to admit. My thoughts? If there is some big Hive/Taken presence behind all this, I think this could be the [REDACTED] giving us a reality check. What you can do, we can do better type thing. Keeps symmetry in the universe between the Light and the [REDACTED], as described by Ulan-Tan. If it’s just Uldren and some space-magic shit? Well, we know Uldren hates the Light, and many in the universe despise Guardians for being long dead killing machine zombies. This may just be an attempt to bring justice upon us by killing us using the same idea the Traveler uses. -King Nate out.

Or perhaps those Fallen learned to reach out to the Deep? But they're out by the Reef on the edge of Dark and Light, so who knows? They could be using the Light.

  • <Xivu Arath, not Xivû. Only Savathûn has that u. We almost have perfect evidence for Savathûn being behind the Taken presence in Sol period... but I don't think we'll SEE her until DLC4. Forsaken is about Uldren and the Barons, with some more foreshadowing on the two major threats on their way, the aforementioned Savathûn and the Darkness. That being said, her game is trickery. She could be manipulating things subtly behind the scenes, taking advantage of Uldren's insanity. Also, you don't need to redact the Deep. We all should know that IT's coming.>
