Idk the difference but a similarity is they’re all good to masturbate with

The spelling

Edited by MendicantBias: 6/29/2018 4:18:33 PMQuasar is a black hole ejecting mass. Pulsar is a remnant/neutron star that rotates really fast. magnetar, pulsar with strong magnetic field.

Oh this ain't my kind of research
-
Edited by Space2001_: 6/28/2018 9:51:40 PMA pulsar is a neutron star with ADD A quasar is a baby galaxy A magnetar is a neutron star that loves to pump iron so much, it’s willing to steal it

They have different names
-
Should have thrown Larvitar, Pupitar and Tyrannitar in there too.

I usually fall asleep to How to the Universe Works, so I rarely get to find out all these juicy details...

I believe a pulsar is a spinning remnant of a star, and a magnetar is a pulsar with a very strong magnetic field. A quasar is a celestial object that puts out an extremely large amount of light, even outshining galaxies, and is supposed to be linked to black holes in some way I can't remember.

Expected a joke

Edited by KnightArtorias: 6/28/2018 9:40:18 PMPulsars are nuetron stars that emit twin beams of gamma and x rays. Magnatars are neutron stars that have a huge magnetic field Quasars are black holes that when feeding emit twin beams of energy due to friction of the gases around it.
i now have my own question-what is an axion?
Edited by DooDooFart: 6/28/2018 9:34:45 PMI was hoping this going to be an epic joke

I know quasars have something to do with the galaxy, so that’s a completely different category.
-
Pulsars and Magnetars are both similar in origin as pulsars are essentially just a rotating neutron star and Magnetars are presumed to be former neutron stars. However, Magnetars have a immense magnetic field even when compared to Pulsars. What it boils down to is that the rotation and other factors allow for a much stronger gravitational pull. Quasars are completely different from both Pulsars and Magnetars, they are believed to be the bright centers of a galaxy. They release tremendous amounts of energy and are formed around supermassive black holes. To put it simply it's a -blam!-load of gas surrounding a huge black hole.
-
Pulsar is a watch company. Quasar was a tv company. Magnetar I've never heard of. So they must make things for weebs, because I wouldn't know about that.
-
A pulsar sends out electromagnetic waves in pulses. A quasar is a galaxy's center that has the ability to shoot out streams of interstellar gas. A magnetar is a neutron star that has an extremely powerful magnetic field.
-
If they were the same then so would their names
-
A space beyblade, a Minecraft beacon at the center of a galaxy, and a couple of buckyballs.

The words are different 😉
