Yeah it would have been nice if the comics actually told us more about what was going on but that would require a deep and well thought out story. So I guess page after page of "I love my girlfriend" was bungies way of filling out the story while not actually telling us anything.

I hate this stuff. Like honestly i am all about diversity. Ny first porn category i look up is lesbian. I love that lesbian action. But not only are they forced lesbian for no reason, but they have no character build up and they act like im supposed to care. I still remember when everyone FREAKED OUT about tracer being a lesbian and that was only because people had soooo much time to grow attached to this character. Anna bray comes in like 1 DLC and basically does nothing and then she is like “im gay” like.... who gives a fuc$.... its starting to remind me of the Steven universe show where they basically made a show all about LGTB stuff (and koodos to you if you like that stuff but i dont like that show) but steven universe at least try’s to make you care about these characters and give them some semblance of personality but you dont get that in destiny. The only characters i ever felt attached to in destiny was cyde and Osiris ghost (just because she is quite literally the only interesting female character that does not crack bad jokes 24/7 and has some personality)

Who cares, forced or not. She's a literal nobody of a character. Just like the bumchum Devrim. They can be as gay as they want, forced or not, and it doesn't matter because they're minute characters nobody really gives a rat's ass about. You can center an entire game around Ana Bray and she's still nobody worth knowing. Benedict sweeping the halls in the backend of the tower means more to me than she does or ever would. I think forced diversity is quite lame too - but atleast it's only being forced on minor trash characters with 8 edgy dialogue lines. I mean it could be worse - they could be trying to shove it down your throat that your guardian is gay and actually incorporate that into the [b]game.[/b] Which brings me to my next point - this isn't even in-game. Who give a -blam!- about some shitty comics. In case you didn't realize the Osiris one had no SJW pandering and was still a pile of shit that added nothing to the story - forced diversity isn't even the problem - just blatant shitty writing from the comic creators.

Takes a certain kind of person to start counting up how many characters aren't heterosexual in a video game. Take a deep inward look at yourself if you find gay characters genuinely upsetting.

[spoiler]Ana is pretty much a token character. Her being asian seems to be just because "eh, why not?" Which is fine when starting a character from scratch, nobody has a problem with Ikora being black because nothing in her past bring into question why she would be black because she doesn't have a backstory. The only problem with Ana is that she actually has an existing backstory from before she was a Guardian. She's a Bray. You know, as in [i]Clovis Bray[/i]? Clovis and Bray are some of the whitest names you'll ever hear (but don't sound white when put together for some reason). This is explained as her being adopted, which is fine and can actually bring a lot of depth to a character with the struggles they face from being placed in an entirely new foreign yet intimate environment. Bungie does not do this. They mention that Ana struggles with becoming a Bray in a Lore Tab. And that is it. I guess it might be hard to add any level of depth since she's so much of a side character (that's in Destiny), but it doesn't even seem like that much of an attempt was made. It also doesn't help that the Warmind comic where it's revealed that she's a lesbian or at the very least bisexual is reminiscent of the new age garbage Marvel has been pumping out recently, only further supporting the feeling that she's just a character to pander to the "SJW"s. Do I wish Ana was white? No, her character model is actually quite attractive for how annoying she can be. Do I wish Bungie would add some depth to their characters so this conversation doesn't even have to take place to begin with? I think the answer is quite obvious[/spoiler].
