So here's the thing, it sounds like your real problem is not diversity... It's bad writing.
But when you bring diversity in as the scapegoat, your muddling the message with prejudice. If you really think it is ok that Ana Bray is gay, than you just have a problem with the way her character is being portrayed.
Everyone who uses the term forced diversity comments on the fact that it is bad writing; the problem being, it's dificult for straight white men to write from the viewpoint of a gay female. Your problem, if you are a tolerant individual, is not forced diversity, it's just bad writing. You want to see gay characters, but you want them to be written better. Am I correct?
If I am not. Then you are using bad writing as an excuse and a mask for your prejudice towards having gay characters in games.
There is no forced diversity just bad writing, and if you maintain that it is a thing, you're creating a toxic and dangerous conversation that alienates the minority and perpetuates an unfortunate stereotype about sexuality in video games.
Does this make sense or do you maintain?
EDIT: Also, I really don't see how Art or any medium needs to follow certain rules about how much gay is okay. And were talking about Ana Bray, not the last jedi, please stay focused. We're all aware of the meaning of the word diversity.
