Again, that's not at all what he said. Take the time to read it again, and maybe all the "common sense" you talked about should kick in.

‘Forced’ diversity isn’t a problem at all. If people don’t like these ‘diverse’ characters or how they are written/used, just boycott those movies/comics/franchises and move on to others. The people who it doesn’t bother at all will hang around still, it’s really not an issue. I don’t see Ana being gay used in the way it was any worse than just a ‘regular’ character being written poorly.
