I usually back out before the strike starts by going to character select screen. If it's solar singe and you're running arcstrider or defender with coldheart and a void sword, don't expect people who can read to suffer a 45 minute strike that should take 10-15 minutes.

Doesn’t feel like it does anything cause it barely does you can only barely notice with grenades and supers. With heavyweight you only kinda need solar and even then it’s not really needed cause heavyweight is wayyyyyy more effective than matching the singe hence why no matter the singe if it’s heavyweight ppl always use the sleeper

Singes are puny without Heavyweight, and Bungie made it so that the challenges contradict the Singes most of the time. Can’t really blame the players for this one.

It's Solar Singe AND Heavyweight today. Your heavy does more damage if it matches the singe. 90% of the time, you can melt the boss with Sleeper before ads even spawn.

You can solo the boss with any singe and heavy. So either complain or get good and slay the boss on your own. Oh you need 2 people to hold your hand in strikes. K.

Which is why I said Singes are only useful with Heavyweight. The Singe itself gives a minuscule buff, but it stacks multiplicatively with Heavyweight so it’s just enough to make it noticeable. Running an Arc Secondary this week over a Solar one makes very little difference, and isn’t worth leaving over. Even using the wrong flavor of Heavy doesn’t matter too much, since Heavyweight is doing most of the lifting. The only thing that you can feel are Grenades, but like I said you can’t blame people for using the wrong subclass when Bungie made challenges to directly contradict the modifiers.
