You guys made everything way to grindy, this game pisses me off now because of it. Im fairly certain im not buying forsaken because I just forsee more of the same.
If you are going to make a grind at least make it fun.
Your grind sucks, and its making D2 suck more than it already did.

1 ReplyIt's a loot based game, so there's going to be grinding involved. The catalysts will be available some other way after Season 3, so don't be too worried.

I wont hit 385 unless it's by chance I wont get sleeper I wont get EP guns I Wont reach 50 in faction rally I wont reach 50 in IB I probably wont clear Prestige mode either. But I'm still buying forsaken because I enjoy destiny. People say I'm not getting the most out of my money. I say that's completely wrong. The time you spend enjoying the game is money well spent. The servers wont be around forever, your characters, gear, emblems, ships, sparrows, they will all be gone one day. What will remain is your experience, and as long as you enjoy that experience, the game is worth the money.

10 RepliesI've not found the grind so bad overall, the timegating for the faction rallies is a bit ridiculous though, if the rallies were 2 weeks long each it'd be ok. As for catalysts i've found the Sunshot one to be a bit much, been using it a ton and getting kills using the explosions is taking an age..

Spent less than a month in D2 because how underwhelming the entire game actually is and not much has changed this entire year to create an incentive to come back.

What is there to actually grind in this game? I can’t think of anything except faction rallies. Power level? Nope, Do the weekly milestones then done. PvP? I guess this could be a grind, only competitive and only if you want to finish it in a couple weeks. Factions are the only thing “grindy” and even that isn’t “really” a problem, same with IB just do the daily’s on every character daily. Only takes an hour or two, which isn’t really grindy

Faction rallies, have to get the catalyst in a day because of a vacation. Not to mention unlocking said catalysts. As for when are mmo's supposed to not be grindy? Since like 2014 dude. Mmo's that are quality with quality content updates are all over, its just destiny is pretty much the only shooter one. How about you for once release some real -blam!-ing content rather than a couple new useless guns, and a couple new useless armor sets. Make a new strike, a new raid, something like jesus christ, then give us drops from those. Faction rallies suck, they are just farming the same shit we have been farming the last 6 months. Pretty much any game company could drop better content updates than this. Your game makes me excited for anthem, which is depressing because its EA and EA SUCKS.

Let’s be real, we’re all tired of Faction Rallies, by extension Public Events and to a lesser degree Lost Sectors. I would suggest that Bungo take a break from Faction Rallies until (at least) late October, to give this community (what’ll be left of it) time to enjoy Forsaken and to make critical changes to it. Now, while I guess this might be what’s gonna happen anyways, I hope that Bungo realizes that these kinda “events” just aren’t cuttin’ it. All things being said, if Bungo doesn’t change direction with regards to these kinda events, then at least throw in some more “events” like Triple Valor on an annual basis.
