We were attempting spire of stars the other night and everytime we got to the phase to throw the charges at the ships in space they would just go through the ships. It didn't matter who was fireteam leader or who went into space, 9 times out of 10 at least one of the people who went into space wouldn't be able to destroy the ship. We tried letting the 3rd person with the buff try it on these rounds to no avail. We noticed that if they weren't glowing purple they wouldn't explode.
