That fact that less than 10k people have the Claymore shows how much of a failure the Competitive ranking system is. Since the Redrix is going to be gone after this season there are going to by tens of thousands of people who would have otherwise gotten it if the matchmaking was better.
Perhaps after season 3 ends, the Redrix’s Claymore should be obtainable as an exotic for those players who didn’t get the legendary version. This way, those sweaty few who got the Claymore in season 3 will still have a better version of the gun seeing as how they can also equip an exotic weapon in another slot, but those who didn’t get it in season 3 will still be able to experience the weapon with its exotic variant. I think this would be a better alternative to throwing the weapon away forever, as otherwise we have a rich-get-richer scenario where those with the Redrix have the upper hand at getting the next glory exclusive by having a better weapon, or all glory weapons need to be mediocre at best to avoid a snowball effect of the same shrinking pool of people getting the glory weapon every season.
It would be interesting if this was the case for the Claymore and all future glory weapons. Either that or fix the matchmaking system, ban the DDOSers, and give people another shot at getting it.

Haha, better yet, they’re releasing a legendary weapon that’s practically the same thing as the Redrix.

that joke

That gun would be an Exotic almost as bad as Jade Rabbit. Let the people who grinded it out in Season 3 have their gun. You aren’t missing much

Edited by olly5656: 8/13/2018 9:57:34 PMHmm could be interesting but I do like the exclusivity of the competitive weapons. I’d be in favor of a system that allows something similar to this for all the pinnacle crucible awards as long as it’s doesn’t ruin the exclusivity of it.

So make Crucible more toxic with a OP gun full teams of sweats will use preventing anyone from getting their glory up or just fix the game like it should get fixed? What kind of question is that?
