My other two teammates were dead, I was out of heavy and energy ammo and my Super wasn’t even close to being halfway full and Thaviks The Depraved was charging straight towards me with his Shock Blades, ready to rip me a new gear slot. I closed my eyes and prayed it would be over soon, and then, out of nowhere, there he was. [i]Local Area Dad has joined your fireteam.[/i] He took those blades deep into his chest and by sheer strength and will alone he held them there. He then tossed a heavy ammo synth behind himself to me, turned his head towards me and simply nodded. I knew what he was thinking and it almost made me wanted to cry. I popped that Synth, reloaded my Sleeper and pointed it straight towards the both of them and loaded that laser straight into the both of their heads. That last hit was all that we needed to take Thaviks down. Weren’t it for Local Area Dad, I wouldn’t have been able to get that Emblem Variant. Local Area Dad, wherever you are, thank you.
