First I'd like to congratulate bungie on this great new expension. I believe it was and is being mostly a great experience for everyone and hope everyone's liking it as much as I have. HOWEVER, with that said, there are some issues that I have been noticing, and some of them make no sense and seemed to have been overlooked.
Let's start with infusing! As everyone has noticed, infusing now costs masterwork cores. That in itself is.. disappointing but not the main problem. You can avoid this cost by either infusing the item that you want to infuse with an exotic OR infusing that item with the same item as examplified here and here. Now the real problem lies in pieces of armor that are no longer obtainable (example: past seasons eververse armor, crucible armor..) and the exotic drop rate (and please remember that there are no specific class armor exotics). I honestly don't think we should have to wait until we are light level 600 to be able to use the pieces of armor that we enjoy the most, and I'd expect eververse armor to be free from masterwork core costs since it comes at light level 10, and the others are no longer obtainable anyways (but that's not even the biggest issue).
Eververse! I don't think there's anything bad regarding eververse, I like the new changes and all. Not sure if getting other classes' cosmetics as a hunter is normal (as it has already happened to me) but that's not really important. The issue here is simple and probably a bug. Eververse armor bought with bright dust can't be masterworked! As shown here. However, if you obtain it through an engram you can masterwork it. link here.
3 in 1 third topic, I find this to be the most problematic one. People that have invested a considerable amount of time "loving and giving affection" to their precious pieces of gear by putting the extra effort to masterworking them now find themselves to have to choose between looks over stats. Previously owned armors and weapons now don't have randomized perks. They are simply inferior to anything we might acquire nowadays. Why should we have to choose after putting so much effort to masterwork them. And I understand why we can't pull gear with randomized perks from the collection since we could abuse that in order to get the perks that we wanted but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the collection? Just remove the randomized perks and make us spend glimmer and/or other resources in order to get randomized perks or reroll them! That would fix both the previously owned armor problem and the collection problem!
By the way Xur is now pretty much useless without fated engrams.
Thank you for reading and I'd appreciate any upvote as this needs to be looked over by bungie and still took a considerable amount of time to do.

More and more I feel like we should be able to upgrade our gear and reroll the perks on masterworked items. Wish this thread had more people reading it.
