Scout Rifle Damage
At the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken, Scout Rifle damage was reduced for PvE activities. This was further impacted by an issue where Explosive Rounds were negatively effecting damage, which was addressed in a recent hotfix.
To further address the player feedback, we are planning to increase Scout Rifle damage by 15% in a future patch.

It was yet another mindless decision that wasn't even explained to players or even demanded by them. And because of that mess you made, again, (there's a clear pattern in that, btw) here we are: almost 3 weeks without being able to use a Scout Rifle (as they are useless) and the need to wait for a future, non disclosed date for a patch that, by the look of it (only 15%, really?), won't turn back Scouts to what they were before Forsaken, let alone to what they were in D1. Way to go guys. You just can't help yourselves, can you?

Bungie don’t listen to this cancer filled forum. The game is awesome. I been playing since alpha and can say it’s best it’s been since iron lords release. Please keep putting awesome content out. I know you can’t make everyone happy but trust that you’ve guys have done great. Thanks

My Purpose scout rifle has felt extremely underwhelming in PvE as of lately, and I couldn't understand why it was taking so many bullets to kill standard red enemies. Same for my Forsaken Nameless Midnight with Rampage, Minor Spec, AND High Impact Reserves. I just couldn't figure out why they felt so weak. Now I know, thanks for the clarity.

This way things like going way overbored with the cost of infusion won't take place that the grind won't be so overdone. No one wants to burn right through the content, but stretching out what little that has been offered is going to get old real quick.

2 RepliesSo you're buffing them by 15% when you already nerfed them by 30%? I thought we'd stopped with this nerfing shit, especially when they didn't need nerfed in the first place. The slow firing Scout Rifles needed buffed, if anything.
