The Hunter's dodge ability doesn't feel very useful.
The Titan's shield is super useful, it gives cover, and one of them basically eliminates the need to reload.
The Warlock's circle is super useful. one of them heals and the other gives you a damage increase.
The Hunter's Dodge does what? One of them recharges your Melee ability, which is... ok, I guess? none of the Melee abilities feel super useful, and powerful enemies seem to ignore the effects of Debilitating blow. The other recharges your currently equipped weapon, which is pretty good for slow reloading weapons, but the Titan's chest-high wall eliminates the need to reload entirely while you're behind it.
The dodges doesn't give you i-frames, meaning that you can still get shot and killed while dodging. I remember something giving you 'increased defense' while dodging, but I can't remember what it was. That still kinda sucks. You get increased dodge for about a second while you jump. great.
Am I the only person who feels this way?

I do somewhat agree with this -- being a hunter-main. The roll is useful, yes, but you only get one. The melee recharge ability is a joke -- if you're not within like 5 feet of the enemy it doesn't work. Lol Sure you roll into cover, but then what? You only get healed by a roll when you have wormhusk on -- which is very annoying to combat -- I never used it though as the Gemini's were my favorite. But if you don't roll into cover where teammates are, is it really that good? And even if they roll into teammates, how is that any different than any other class running back to their teammates? Chances are that hunter is not going to come back out and start fighting immediately, so both of you can heal -- plus the opposed guardian can easily disengage as well and get into cover after a hunter uses their roll. The roll takes up a class ability slot, and it's literally just a roll. It doesn't heal you, or protect you. In d1 it was a nightstalker exclusive and could be used much more often than every 15 seconds, at the very least. This version is quite watered-down. It is less useful than the warlock's or titan's class ability, which actually benefits other teammates, whether it be healing or shielding, it's better than just a roll . Not to mention that titan's can skate away and outrun any super (maybe not the new void warlock one but you get my point) doing so, and warlocks can either blink away or do their own air-dodge that can be used more frequently than a hunter's roll. So, how is a hunter's roll OP? That is quite humorous. Maybe if they could roll 3 times in quick succession? Or actually be really hard to hit whilst rolling? I have killed many whilst they roll, I don't see how people in here think its OP. Lmao
