So after finally spawning the servitor this happened.
Long story short, we spawned our servitor. The other team knew so they backed out and sent me the message above.
Played many many games after that one and no luck.
Edit:- I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Update:- We just killed the boss and the quest dropped. I've almost stopped playing Gambit after what happened to me with these guys. Bungie really should look into this so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Edit:- Alot of people are angry because I shared this. Believe me you wouldn't be so angry if this situation happened to you. If you ignore this, soon enough it will become a problem and people will talk about it in the forums. Also it might've happened to people who don't have access to b.net and in all seriousness ingame reporting does nothing.

6 RepliesMy son did the last part of the quest for me that requires you to wipe the full enemy team. The servitor spawned and our team was being trash. I told him to let them kill it and he says "no! They're gonna work for it!" He then proceeds to repeatedly invade and kill them. They did finally kill it, but they had less than 20 seconds to spare. Folks out here are cold blooded, man. Three of them got the quest tho.

Same damn thing happened to us 2 nights ago we got the servitor to spawn had it down to a quarter health too then all of a sudden match ended that was the only time this week playing daily for about 4 to 5 hours it spawned..blame Bungie for locking a quest start behind beating the prime.

11 RepliesI got super lucky with mine. I was solo with a clan on my team, and back clan on the other. When you get it to spawn and both teams are fighting for it. It's really intense. This is why I prefer Xbox over PlayStation too. So many sore losers kids. Best of luck to you next time

1 ReplyIt appears I am rather fortunate having been able to kill the Servitor on two different characters now relatively quickly between themselves, too. Does it seem like the enemy doesn't get nearly as many invasions when you get the Servitor spawn as opposed to normal Primevals? Or were the enemy team both times just kinda letting us have it?

Tbh I was REALLY enjoying gambit even as a solo player. Before this I had definitely won more games than lost. Ever since this quest has appeared though it’s seriously turned gambit into trash! Full premades everywhere hunting for the quest and people on both teams that just drop out when it isn’t the prime evil that they so hoped for. I was having an absolute blast playing gambit. Now I’ve had just about enough and it’s down to Bungie for completely ruining their own game mode. Well done.

6 RepliesGambit is just toxic at the moment, since bungo tied the Malfeasance quest to it. Played 3 Games last night, 2 of the games we didn't even spawn the prime evil ( 1 game we didn't even bank a single mote) because my "team mates" just wait at the portal (Dancing) sleepers in hand just waiting to invade. The 3rd game we spawn our prime and it's the Taken prime, 2 people leave instantly. It's unplayable at the moment unless your a 4 stack of sweats. Reminds me of the Trials days, soon we'll be getting " guaranteed paid carries " on the lfg soon.
