So after finally spawning the servitor this happened.
Long story short, we spawned our servitor. The other team knew so they backed out and sent me the message above.
Played many many games after that one and no luck.
Edit:- I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Update:- We just killed the boss and the quest dropped. I've almost stopped playing Gambit after what happened to me with these guys. Bungie really should look into this so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Edit:- Alot of people are angry because I shared this. Believe me you wouldn't be so angry if this situation happened to you. If you ignore this, soon enough it will become a problem and people will talk about it in the forums. Also it might've happened to people who don't have access to b.net and in all seriousness ingame reporting does nothing.

1 Replyum maybe I just got really lucky but when it spawned for us it also spawned for the other team so either it spawns for both teams and they missed out on the chance to get the quest or they are a bunch of masochists who enjoy suffering through matches of gambit lol

Despite the negative feedback to your post this behavior is an in game violation of the code conduct. It’s quick and easy. Your screen shot can be shared anonymously and your harassers may be served a warning or stage 1 ban. If you feel that badly about the actions taken against you they can be reported through your console provider hub. Or on your console hub site. It’s up to you the initiate repercussions for such behavior. This type of violation is not actively monitored but WILL be assessed and if needed addressed. Your call my friend. I’m sorry this happened to you. What a bunch of dic%s.

Behold the destiny community in a nutshell, needless to say the majority is not a gigantic douche, but still. It's awesome you got another chance at it. Personally I wont even bother with it until and only if they decide to be arsed to balance that mode, its just not worth the stress.

2 RepliesHave never seen that servitor. Rank 11 now. I now only play for the milestone. Just can no longer chase bull sh1t drops. Defined quests or I don’t bother. Currently on Broadsword and Howl quests. None else matters after those grinds.

Looks like the typical Destiny dbags. Bet they’re Bungie fanboys too. Glad karma karma came back around and took care of you. Sure hope karma comes and gets those asshats. Pity Bungie protects losers like that with their “no naming and shaming”. Perhaps if we could name and shame asshats wouldn’t be encountered in the wild....but that would make too much work for the folks at Bungie with having to actually do their job and remove trash from their game. They’re too busy too -blam!-ing things up that didn’t need their attention to deal with actual problem children in their game. You should PM that image...I have no problems with getting a ban for putting asshats on blast 😊

I hope Bungie takes note of this exploit. Maybe Bungie will make it so if the servitor spawns and the whole enemy team leaves preventing your team to kill it, that your team just get the quest item automatically. But then I guess that would cause teams who do spawn it to make the enemy team lag out. That's some double edge sword shizz right there.

2 RepliesWhat they should do for this quest is up the chances of it spawning each round it doesn't show up. And when it does but you don't get the kill, the game'll keep track of how many times you go at it. If you don't kill it like the third or so time around, the Drifter will call you over and be like... "Hey there, Guardian. Saw ya throwin' down with that big ball of nasty in the arena a few times now. Never seen anything like it before, but I've got a bead on what calls it out. If ya want, I can draw it out just for you and your crew, cuz let's be honest here...we both want to see what that thing has in it. I'm bettin' it'd be worth the effort for both of us!"

1 ReplyYou should edit your post and tag it with rewards. Bungie should have made it where if a team leaves the match, the quest item drops automaticlly. All this RNG BS is really getting out of hand with them.

The worst part about all of the toxicity around this is that the weapon is a complete piece of junk. A perk to throw the gun at your enemy would be an improvement.

I’ve played a lot of matches and haven’t gotten it to drop I have seen 4 spawn for enemy teams and each time my team has let them kill it with absolutely I regrets I only hope another team shows the same kindness and let’s us kill it if it spawns
