So after finally spawning the servitor this happened.
Long story short, we spawned our servitor. The other team knew so they backed out and sent me the message above.
Played many many games after that one and no luck.
Edit:- I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Update:- We just killed the boss and the quest dropped. I've almost stopped playing Gambit after what happened to me with these guys. Bungie really should look into this so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Edit:- Alot of people are angry because I shared this. Believe me you wouldn't be so angry if this situation happened to you. If you ignore this, soon enough it will become a problem and people will talk about it in the forums. Also it might've happened to people who don't have access to b.net and in all seriousness ingame reporting does nothing.

so if other team backs out... does it just end or ? that is sooo blammin sh**ty to do an proof most destiny players are toxic jealous blocking scum... if they cant get it then noone can... WOW and fact they know that an just trolling to stop people... but, if it happened to them - they would cry an be raging. Also want keep it exclusive - probably the people who want to charge you for it etc. -

4 Repliesyea... all the helpful friendly players of D1 days are long gone... dropped this game faster then your mom down a flight of stares... see back in D1 they would see you spawned yours in then they would spawn theirs in and if they didn't get it they would emote sit and wait for your team to kill your prime evil... now well you seen it for your self... just straight up toxic.

Gambit is a game type based ENTIRELY on trolling players - the broken Invasion mechanic, no one banking motes or killing Blockers and losing everything, Invaders being able to portal-spam during Primeval rounds, random red-bar Vandals that can 1-shot 540+ players out of nowhere (one got my entire team yesterday), Motes falling through the floor, connection issues regenerating enemy health or not counting Mote pickups...sucks that happened to you, but it's literally exactly what I would expect. It wouldn't surprise me if they introduce a new mechanic where Invaders can eject players from the game by killing them 3 times with Sleeper in the same match and putting a 15-minute cooldown on being able to rejoin a Gambit match with a 24-hour lockout if it happens 3 times in a day...the problem isn't that Gambit is broken, it's that it's not broken ENOUGH.

As someone that's crawled through comp 2 seasons in a row for fabled, I gotta say, I've got more shittalk from gambit players than any other play list. I guess this is the new toxicity.

I have actually thought that once I get the quest if my enemy gets the servitor, just let them kill it.

2 RepliesLast night my team had a nice streak going. We have been trying to get that servitor for days. We probably won 13/15 games or so yesterday. And of course the ONE round that it spawned we didn’t even kill it. So frustrating.

Wish there was a way to spawn the servitor for both teams or something...then again, there is probably jerks out there that already have it and will do this simply to keep it "exclusive"...oh well, you will get it eventually and he will get his eventually, if you know what I mean

Lol what a ducking fick! I was lucky and got mine to appear on my second game since the reset. Almost would've lost it if it weren't for my trusty sleeper!
