Seeing posts in the enemy stomp mechanic tossing you around, mixed with my feelings of extreme frustration in trying to even quickly navigate a map in Destiny, have brought me to this.
What exactly was the point of the "Go Fast" update? Bungie said that the jumps and glides of the three respective classes were restored, but to what? We are still slow moving targets. Playing any PvE activity, particularly Gambit, you feel exactly how slow you truly are. You cannot close gaps. Imagine using FoH or Nova Warp then being pushed back a few meters by bumping into a teammate. Trying to make it back to your target is extremely frustrating.
This game feels like an inertia/momentum simulator at too many times. Not only does enemy fire flinch far too much, but it moves you. It physically moves you and pushes you like everyone seemed to be able to do in SRL. I honestly end up fealing that I'm being punished for any type of aerial maneuvering that I attempt due to all of my Titan boosts slowing me down and making me vulnerable to what feels like seeking projectiles that do uneven amounts of damage. Thats along the lines of my conclusion; we are not encouraged to be airborne at any time unless its to jump around in a puzzle. Surely I can't be the only one to feel this way.
