Well it is partly but it's not entirely their fault because if bungie fixed their game it wouldn't be an issue

This is a lazy argument. Bungie has made a ton of infuriating game design choices, but they never forced anyone to ruin someone else's game just for the sake of ruining it. It is 100% the players' fault.
