You can choose to have misery or grief over this post or you could reflect on how great this person was. As you said it is a different perspective, well what I see was a group of friends who wanted to celebrate this man and immortalize him in a form. Everyone dies as you said, you see it on the news, at work, at school, at home, but how you choose to accept that information is up to you. I highly doubt that these lads wanted to post this to make everyone miserable and sad. Instead they wanted to enlighten people about our recently lost Titan, Joshua Foley, and his accomplishments towards the community. So please get off your high horse and take a look at other perspectives on this platform, that was your advice wasn't it?~Acrosity

  • He's on a high horse? Lolol nah bud, all of you all the sudden thinking you need to voice that you care and think you give a sh** are the problem. Everytime something like this happens all you attention roaches come crawling out of the woodwork to say the obvious of how sad it is. But what's sadder is not letting him pass as he obviously intended. Silently and without attention

  • I do believe you are mistaken lad. The attention "roaches" are the ones who show no care towards the afflicted or the grieving and instead post horrendous comments that should be left in the back of their mind. Most of us, besides you two apparently, are showing our compassion for the friends of the lost one and the lost one himself. If you have any problem with that then please leave these forums as you are about as toxic as they get. If Joshua or his family wished to not have a memorial on the bungie forums then he would have said otherwise and Chief would have never posted this thread. You never had to click on it, you never had to comment on it, you never even had to acknowledge it.

  • No "lad" you're pretending to show compassion. You're so wrong and I can't even blame you because you're ignorant to the whole situation as most people in this post are. This guy killed himself apparently and it seems only me and the one other guy in this post see this all for what it is. And what's even harder for you to wrap your head around is this: The josh guy would very likely see what I'm saying and even more likely agree with what is being said. I understand how this can look like a simple troll post but its so far from that. Its the true perspective that nobody ever takes the time to see. so keep on everybody, keep on pretending like you give a crap and make your empty, false-caring posts so you can go on through the day feeling good about yourselves. Its that kind of ignorance that helps some people decide they would just rather check out early. so go on, continue to think I'm the big bad guy. Truth is, if I'd ever met this guy, I bet he would see eye to eye with how I'm calling the bs of you fakers. You're really making the world a better place by just posting in a forum

  • How can you be so sure that I am faking my compassion for his family, friends, and him? You can't and you don't know that. That is truly being ignorant. If Joshua did not want to be immortalized on the forums then either his family, friends, or himself would have said something before he took his life. You do not know the full situation nor do I, but what I do know is that a good friend of Joshua would not have posted this without any permission from anybody. I do care, but you keep on pretending to be a pretentious asshole, maybe next time keep your morals and ideals inside of your mind as well or in another post?

  • Hah! Yeah you're showing compassion to him and his family, what an effort. I give more effort towards preventing global warming by holding a fart. Tell me bud, what are you going to do today besides a few posts for his family? What about tomorrow? Are you really going to "remember him in your thoughts" in your future? Alot of good that will do. Also, you dont "know" that a good friend would post this only if he had permission. It happens ALL the time. Bunch of pretenders

  • Well at least I made an effort to show some form of compassion unlike a certain somebody I wish I never knew. Not to mention your shit analogy of global warming and someones death, but okay you heartless bastard. Tomorrow I will remember him and so forth and on, as I have stated that I will hold him in my thoughts and prayers. A lot of good? No, but an amount is the correct phrase. It is more than you could ever say in a life time. It would be very rude for a friend to post this without permission as the family might have wanted this to be kept quiet which is why I am sure that the poster asked before posting, but again I cannot confirm. Now how about you stop pretending to be some sort of justice warrior and just let a man and his memories rest in peace instead of spouting the same invalid arguments?
