It's very sad how people can honestly feel like killing themselves is the best solution.

Getting lost in a game like this can help the process...

Its very hard for people who do not know of those dark places to understand how it feels to suffer from clinical depression. People with depression fight off dark urges on the daily, nightly, every waking minute.. and some get worn down and tired, and eventually give in to the urge to just end it. They do not do it because they want to make people miserable.. they do it to stop the pain. Depression is exhausting to fight, both mentally and physically.. and often people who suffer from depression, suffer long endless years alone with it.. Because other people dont understand. Its not sad.. what is is the fact that people who do not suffer from depression, dont understand.

Coming from someone who’s been at that point, it’s horrible. Honestly doing seemed better than holding out and living. Did the thought of my family and the love of my life cross me mind? Absolutely, but there’s this voice that’ll tell you how great it would be if this pain could just disappear and no one had to worry about you anymore
It's very sad how people can honestly feel like killing themselves is the best solution.
No, its very dumb.

It's really not. It's how the mind works. Nothing is dumb when you've stooped so low that you think you're only a burden on people's lives.

When you’re that deep in clinical depression, the thoughts aren’t rational, they are barely even yours. It’s not so much a choice as it is a semi-delusional conviction that there are no other options. For some people, the thought “I want to die” is as common and out of the blue as “I want [x] to eat.” Some people avoid the fridge when they know they shouldn’t. Some people don’t. Everyone gives in to some impulse or another every day. We aren’t in as much control as we like to believe.
