A terrible tragedy! So sorry for your loss, rest in peace Joshua. I suspect that being a military veteran, Joshua suffered from PTSD. I too suffer from this terrible, dark illness and have been extremely close to the edge myself. It breaks my heart that the so called "honorable" beauracrats and the military industrial machine keep sending our young men and women into other countries to wage war on mining, oil and gas corporations behalf . These young men and women see things during that time that no human being should have to see and quite literally would make a billy goat puke! As a result quite a few of them come back home damaged. These people lay down their lives and are forced to wait in extremely long waiting lists to recieve the help that they so desperately need! For all the folks who can't possibly know what living with depression/mental health issues is like unless they have experienced it first hand let me quote this " The mind is a dangerous, frightening playground, don't go there alone" ! Also please remember that when a person asks for help they likely need help right away and more often than not are not able to get an appointment to see someone untill a later date. Unfortunately for many, that later date is too late. For people who want to help, please contact your local Mental health provider, I'm sure that a small donation would be appreciated and would go a long way in reducing those long waiting lists for help! It's the same for everyone who needs help, not just veterans ... On another note, just the fact that the waiting lists in most cases are so incredibly long says something about the state of the world we live in, some food for thought for everyone ! God Bless you Joshua !
