For me, if I'm speaking scientifically, the two guaranteed ones are the sun and the galaxy Andromeda; which will take roughly four billion years to happen. But right now I'm betting on the overpopulation issue that might very well be catastrophic to us all. Some would argue that global warming will do the job, and it could no doubt. Global warming, if not reversed soon will cause the following: More frequent and severe weather, higher death rates, dirtier air, higher wildlife extinction rates, more acidic oceans, and higher sea levels. Some of this is already coming into play... unfortunately.
How do you think the world will end? I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like us Homo sapiens don't take shit seriously until it happens. Or is that just me?
Edit: When I say "end" I don't necessarily mean the destruction of Earth, just things that would set us far back as a species or kill billions.

Check out Revelation from The Bible. Even if you’re a non-believer it’s a wild read.

This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but with a whimper.

I’m waiting for a MASSIVE volcano the size of the United States to pop out of the ground and engulf the entire world in lava.

Edited by Ace of Knaves: 11/8/2018 12:51:12 AMTrump ended the treaty signed with Russia back during the Cold War that limited the amount of nuclear weapons that can be manufactured, it’s gonna end similar to Fallout

A giant twerking Jake the dog will drop a little too low

If we can manage to develop interstellar travel, we should be relatively fine from most galactic threats, meaning solar flares, asteroids, and other things like that. War could also be not that much of an issue if we get to other planets, maybe even other stars. A nuke, hopefully, can't travel between planets.

In a hand basket on its way to hell.

Well according to the Bible, (most of you don’t care about this) it says that God will destroy the earth and create a new one after the Tribulations and the Rapture
-
I see an asteroid coming down destroying the earth and the last few survivors of humanity are gonna be killed off from a super bacteria brought by the asteroid

What it says in the Bible, if unsustainable population doesn’t get us first.

Not with a bang, but with a whisper.

Who knows what'll happen to Homo sapiens? War, plague, even cosmic bombardment like an asteroid or comet could put an end to our species. That's the non-secular theory. Christians believe in the Apocalypse- where there will be total war ending in what sounds like cosmic bombardment. As for the planet... millions of years from now the sun will expand to the point where it will burn up the Earth and absorb its matter.

Super volcano

I’m pretty sure the population is decreasing at the moment but should level out by next year or the year after that

Either one country is finally going to get pushed into sending off their nuke arsonal (worst case either USA or Russia) and life as we know it ceases due to irreversible damage. Or you know, we end up going just like the dinosaurs.

NUUUUUUUUKES!!!
-
Plague probably

The world dosent end it just simply lives without us in it even if its infected by nuclear waste or whatever that we have done to it , or if a comet hits some parts of it survives.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like us Homo sapiens don't take shit seriously until it happens.
True. "Lol why would I care about politics?" *Later* "Oh my god how could this politician get voted in?!" Anyway, the end of the world has three stages imo. 1. Our apathy and waste kills off all other animal species. 2. Our wars kill off us. 3. The Sun eats whatever remains. It's possible that in between 2 and 3 new animals will evolve and take over though. Tardigrades and cockroaches, maybe rats, could survive some of humanity's mistakes, and then new species might evolve from them in time. Even without that, some kind of new animal species could evolve much like the first species on Earth did. My history teacher used to say that humans' successors will be rats, but who really knows?

I'm expecting it to either be warfare or disease, honestly both is also a possibility, biological warfare certainly is a possibility, weaponizing diseases is a tactic that's been used for thousands of years. With biological engineering I wouldn't label the possibility of someone creating a virus unlike anything we've ever seen to be used as a weapon as impossible
don't mind me, I'm tired and my mind is wandering
... It will end when it is...
not included in the DLC
