I know there are random rolls, but if you had to chose one of these Pulse Rifles, which one are you taking?

Bygones, all day. I have both Bygones and Go Figure with Outlaw + Kill Clip, and a Go Figure with Outlaw + Rampage - it may just be me, but the spread on Go Figure's 4-round burst (especially at even intermediate range) is too inconsistent to be reliable. As much as I hate Gambit, getting that Bygones roll made it worth it - it was my Warlock alt's primary through all of Forsaken, and is about to be again since I just rerolled that character. While Rampage is more consistent, that particular roll of that particular gun lends itself well to popping an ad, reloading, and melting through Majors without needing to switch to Energy/Heavy weapons. The only gun that comes close to its raw efficiency is my Duke with Outlaw + Rampage with a Backup Mag mod, but the Duke starts falling off at range and I usually prefer ranged play. (Too bad Scouts suck right now, as I also have a Wrong Side of Right, Cut and Run, and Talons of the Eagle with Outlaw and either Rampage or Kill Clip, but the recoil and reduced initial damage makes them too risky for solo play - every non-Auto Primary should be a one-trigger-pull kill on generic ads, and Scouts taking 2 shots for Vandals, Acolytes, and Vex makes HCs a more natural choice with roughly the same mag size.)

If I get a Bygones with outlaw, I'd probably only use that, period.
-
Go figure for pve and bygones for pvp.
-
Chattering bone
-
Go Figure, the one on my Warlock has become one of my fave guns.
-
Go figure on pc bygones on console
-
Bygones easily. It's far more stable.
-
So many people using high cal on Go Figure. I'm not 100% sure but if its like aggressive handcannons (same symbol on its archtype) it already has high cal intrinsic so its a wasted perk..
-
I prefer the go figure. I don’t really understand why people think bygones is broken and much better when both can two burst with kill clip and have an almost identical time to kill. I don’t have any problem controlling the go figure’s recoil, maybe others do idk. However I’ve been using Bygones more in crucible for the sole reason of its sleek design. I just think it looks better that’s it lol.
-
I have a stability on my go figure. Now I'm watching for the drop stability, headseeker, and kill clip. Or something else fun
-
390 RPM Pulse Rifles in general are insanely op right now
-
Hmmm, the easiest archetype to get kills with is leading. Go figure.
-
I picked Go Figure only because mine always seem to get better perk rolls coupled with way more range for those really far away mobs, which is why I use it primarily (coupled with a Trust handcannon with dragonfly/rampage for close/midrange).
-
Bygones feels better to use but go figure seems to kill faster
-
Neither, I don't like the feel of either of those weapons.
-
Chattering bone all day.
-
Bygones! Go Figure hits harder, but bygones feels more reliable. Also the scope redicle has the perfect amount of slop for destiny's range and accuracy system.
-
My Chattering Bone with Outlaw, Headseeker, and High Caliber rounds makes a mockery of every other pulse (or ranged weapon for that matter) in the game.
-
Both are really good but Bygones looks good too so wins for me.
-
Both are good in PvP but I prefer bygones.
-
bygones require less precision but kills slower I use go figure
-
I’ve used Go Figure for the longest time. It’s weird because just about every Go Figure I’ve gotten has had really good rolls. The one I used the most has Flared Magwell, Zen Moment, Rampage, and a Reload Masterwork. I still use it on my Warlock. But I’ve gotten a Bygones with Smallbore, Outlaw, Kill Clip and a Range Masterwork. I maxed that shit out and haven’t used another pulse on my main since lol.
-
I have a Go Figure w/ outlaw+rampage+high-caliber rounds.
-
Psssst,
Claws of the Wolf...
-
bygones is a lot more stable

Edited by the1jeffy: 11/8/2018 8:40:39 PMBygones. I hate the "highlights enemy targets" scopes. I have extended mags/ rampage/ headseeker on it and also the roll you buy from the drifter.
