1080 SLI and only getting 40-45 FPS NVIDIA tech sent me here.
i7-6700k
32gb RAM
2x 1080
tried everything I could find and even stumped an NVIDIA tech as to why it wont run correctly.
Any advice or guidance would be helpful.

Have you tried to disabling the sli?
