Constant crashing

My game keeps crashing at random times (sometimes at the character select screen, some times in the middle of an activity, and when loading any random thing) and telling me to run the scan and repair tool. That didn't work. I have checked that both my driver's and os is up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, moved from my external hard drive to my SSD, deleted the user preferences, and nothing has worked. What can I try next?

 • Hey Kenny366, Sorry to hear this is happening to you too. There are many of us experiencing similar issues, and we are fed up with the silence from Bungie! Please share your story here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/249595962?sort=0&page=0 #D2BROCCOLIGATE

 • Hi. Thanks for your report. You may want to follow the below steps, which might help with your issue:
1. Completely uninstall both Destiny 2 and the Battle.net application 2. Delete the following local cache/settings directories:
- %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net – %APPDATA%\Battle.net – %LOCALAPPDATA%\Battle.net – %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC *WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.
3. Reinstall the Battle.net app and Destiny 2
• Please check in event viewer if you get error message Destiny2.exe stopped working. I had this issue for half an year. It all started with Warmind DLC. at the end I reduced my memory speed below the recommended XMP profile speed and the crashes stopped.
