An email I received to generate the code for the Thunderlord Reward (on the 16/11/18) will no longer generate the reward code. This is frustrating as the email contains no information regarding code generation expiration, only the purchase deadline. Upon accessing the Bungie Store, and only this page, can I find there was indeed information for an expiration date (27/11/18), giving me just over a week to to get a code. I in fact, did generate a code within the time frame but due to life commitments, was unable to use the code immediately, thus when I tried to generate a new code a few days ago, and even now, it fails to produce one (which in itself is frustrating when the gap to then make a purchase is around 4 weeks but code generation doesn't last until this point? Seems like a poor choice to not align them as either a shorter purchase date or extend the time to generate codes closer to purchase end dates).
Again, I don't expect to be able to get a new code, but it would be sensible to consider updating any future emails to contain the expiry date there, as some have access to emails to see these notifications, but not have the thought to then check the bungie store for this additional information.
the fine print at the bottom of the email:

Hi Xymothan. Thanks for your report. If you still have the first code you generated, that should work toward buying the shirt.
