Just running an experiment, like you do.
Universe this takes place in is the real world, in between 2650 and 2800, with a bit of stuff happening before and after those years. I'm looking for some personalities to include in a series of shorts that will be less anecdotal and more akin to a conventional series (Looking at about 6 "episodes" or "chapters"). FYI, your username will most likely not be included exactly, having some alterations to it. The personality will hopefully be there however, as best as my limited story telling practice can include it.
This will be part of a much, much larger universe, which I'm currently telling with Anecdotes and pieces of information I've prepared over years of writing to myself. Recently, a friend encouraged me to share some of the better ones (and omit some of the more . . . metaphysical entries), and here we are.
Well, with that exposition out of the way, here are the positions I need filled;
Suicide King Squadron:
Slot 1: Officer - Squad leader, the most veteran of the group.
Username
Slot 2: Researcher - The story is dealing with some unique measurements coming from TEM equipment positioned around a relatively ignored planet in the outer-imperium. The Researcher was assigned this mission because of their knowledge concerning the applications of such equipment.
Liam_Gue, AKA: Liam
Slot 3: Underdog - The newest addition to the squad, only having recently graduated from the TEM Military Courses.
Username
Slot 4: Heavy Gunner - The muscle of the group, comes equipped with more than just guns though. Very combat ready in general, with medical equipment and unique gadgets and weaponry acquired from years of serving with the Officer in Suicide King Squadron.

Slot 5: Survivalist - Keeps tabs on the well being of everyone in the group, but is primarily concerned with him/herself and the Underdog, to a lesser extent.

Additionally;
"Reginald, I've received measurements from our equipment on Quartos-2. The plasmatica radiation and gravity fields seem to be fine, but the measurements are still choppy, infrequent. My top engineers believe it has to be a 3rd party force that the measuring devices are picking up."
GW:"I've taken an in depth look at the reports myself, Reggie. It reminds me of some of the recordings I noted during our time at Quartos-1 and 2."
"I remember Gateway. Godshield, send in Suicide King. Inform them to take along their new recruit on this one as well.
"You got it, Commander."
