Knew what to do (raids)

Bungie, I’m sure you are aware of the amount of fire teams in the LFG that attach “know what to do” to their fireteam title. I understand the reason that people what experienced raiders: it just makes everything easier. I loved raiding in D1 and I was good at it but I haven’t raided in d2 because I’m inexperienced at all the raids and don’t want to hold a fireteam back, and I notice that there’s not a whole lot of fireteams willing to teach. I had an idea that might work: Attach a medal called “knew what to do”, or something similar, to each chest so that when a fireteam acquires that chest and at least one member had not yet acquired that chest (could be tracked by the triumphs for each part of the raid), all members of the fireteam get the medal. Possible rewards for getting the kwtd medal: Higher chance at random (non-Raid specific) exotics, Additional powerful gear for the week, Triumphs for a certain number achieved, A title that tracks the number of medals (along with possibly a weekly aura similar to the nightfall titles) Ornaments for raid gear, Etc. Just an idea. Let me know what everyone in the forum thinks!

  • Or you can just watch datto’s video, so you can learn exactly what to do and not hold the team back it’s really common sense. There is also plenty of groups willing to take a new raider, you just have not tried
