They would come out and flat out say that black armory was shoddily released and they made a mistake in it and that they were going to make it up to us in some way. Instead, we get Cosmo saying “we’ve heard you and will monitor this” even though we’re all pretty sure Bungie is deaf to any kind of constructive feedback and will continue to do things in this exact way regardless of outcry from the player base. I love this game but god dammit if it isn’t infuriating to have new content locked behind puzzles and level walls I have no way to get around.
