Good lord. I remember we had puzzles in our games.
I grew up in the age where internet was just coming out. Lufia puzzles. Legend of Zelda puzzles. Hell, bosses in donkey Kong. Where all the secrets we're in donkey Kong. Alundra. We had to figure out things to go forward in the game.
Look at this now. 2 decades later and man has there been a crazy mindset shift.
Y'all. Are. Lazy, and some of the most entitled gamers I've ever seen. Figure it out. Work together and figure it out. Stop throwing tantrums. Stop running away and get all pissy because you can't figure it out. Stop whining. Stop calling bungie the devil because you can't figure it out. It's a puzzle. Work at it.
Unbelievable. The type of lot that I see in here. Unbelievable.

Serious question, have you solved it yet?
-
Nope! Not yet!
-
id have no problem going and figuring it out if i didnt have to find some website to translate ancient norse runes and the like the issue is this crap isnt able to be figured out in game like all the other games you mentioned theres nothing to reference across any of it as well as it takes three players bare minimum to do your ideology if players being lazy is just lazy as it lacks any creative thought into why the playerbase is upset by this content release or its requirements personally its just more fun for me to play something else which is exactly what i will be doing im not gonna waste the time i have to goof off and play games waiting to access content id rather have watched my ps4 copy another file for five hours than sit through more of bungies drip style content release bullshit the only thing i will say is congrats bungie you got my money never again though
-
You sound like one of those "back in my day" type of people
-
Yeah I know. And I'm only 28 XD
-
thank you
-
Puzzles in those days had in-game hints as to how to beat them. The devs themselves have said that the answers can be found through Google search. That's not cool. I'm not even sure how you can be so will fully ignorant on the issue.
-
That really honestly doesn't bother me. I'm not ignorant on it, it just doesn't anger me like alot of the lot here. I don't get butthurt every time I can't access something immediately. Because that's how I've played games always. I didn't get the master sword immediately. I couldn't get the strongest guns in Metroid without figuring out the puzzles.
-
Your ignorance is still showing. This isn't a puzzle to unlock the Master Sword. This is more like Death Mountain requiring a translator because all the Gorons speak Goronnese but there's no way to know what they're saying without a degree in linguistics and a passion for sudoku. No in-game way of achieving a translation.
-
...no, again. I'm not ignorant. I'm well aware of the hardness of this puzzle. I'm well aware that you have to use things online as well. It's 2019. We all have access to this stuff. You keep using this word and I don't think you know what it means...
-
Still no. You're still being willfully ignorant. You're willingly not understanding the issue. You claim you are, but then you prove you're not. It being 2019 or having access to the internet doesn't make the puzzle right. In fact, making a puzzle in a game that requires such things is utterly wrong. Not when it's a huge road block and not a diversion anyway.

Edited by Hatter: 1/9/2019 3:17:15 PMThat's your opinion and you can have it. Doesn't mean you're right. Or wrong. lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated. This is ignorance. I get what this new content takes. I'm well aware of of the difficulty. I'm aware that this is a helluva change in Pace. It just doesn't bother me, jackwagon. So, again, I'm not being ignorant as I'm very much aware of all that's going on with this. I just DON'T agree with your thinking on this. And you calling me ignorant isn't going to change that fact. How bout we agree to disagree. Because you really want to be right, and I don't agree with your OPINION.
-
We'll agree to disagree. But ignorance has more than one definition. You gave one definition, but there are others. And I still believe you fit the one I'm using. But I digress.

Thank you for your uneducated comment of the day. Jackass.

If you mess up one puzzle you have to redo all the other puzzles. 6 different puzzles just too unlock content we already have paid for not to mention this is the last content drop until the 28th. This is ridiculous.
-
You paid 10 bucks. For content. And some of it is a little harder. Sorry, this still doesn't convince me that it shouldn't have been a puzzle.
You paid 10 bucks. For content. And some of it is a little harder. Sorry, this still doesn't convince me that it shouldn't have been a puzzle.
I paid more than 10 bucks
-
No, you paid 10 bucks for black armory. The pass cost more, but it includes more than just black armory. You paid a subscription to the game. Like an MMO.
No, you paid 10 bucks for black armory. The pass cost more, but it includes more than just black armory. You paid a subscription to the game. Like an MMO.
This is not an subscription game. Also I paid $60 and they decided to drip feed the content.
-
They did say they were switching to a subscription style model. Not a dlc model this year. To give us more content updates.

Sorry I misspoke. It's a different content model is what I meant. It's not your standard expansion like curse of Osiris or warmind was. Those cost 20 bucks I think? Each. And they had a story. Kinda. And some more things that dropped all at once. Black armory isn't like that...
