This community is so freaking entitled to everything. You have no proof that Bungie is creating any content for any streamer. Any YouTuber that wants his career to succeed will always be on top of things like this. Figure out the puzzle for yourself or quit crying. You guy mentality of entitlement is a big part of why this game is failing. Not the only part, a big part. Keep crying some more and jump on a bandwagon so Bungie can consider your feedback. But Bungie never listens anyone....this community is so toxic. Good for streamers, it gives people that want to enjoy the game with little time to play the answers needed so we're not going nuts.
You guys are like a mob. "Grab the pitchforks and attack Bungie and the streamers!"
If you guys care so much, why don't have a YouTube career? Different life choices? Sucks to be you then, so stop complaining.

Lol you know nothing about me if you think me calling out the community for their entitlement behavior is defending Bungie. I've said many times that this game is a dumpster fire because of Bungie and the community. Bungie has delivered a half baked, shallow, content lacking cash grab and the community here feels entitled to jump on a mob mentality bandwagon at every turn. The complacency with being resold recycled content from D1 to bashing Bungie even when they actually listen to feedback is baffling and I'm not going to stick my head in the sand and stay blind to Bungie's mishandling of the game or stay blind to the community's hypocrisy. Bungie is ultimately responsible for their product, but this community is a cess pool of entitlement and toxic aggression to anyone willing to call them out on it. I'll let you hold my kool aid, thanks.

👌 perfect thanks for the smart reply, much needed

Most of the destiny Community are not entitled I've been playing this game a long time so we just want play the game
-
But this quest is proof... they literally are advertising it this way. “Hey, watch the race to solve this puzzle on twitch!”
-
"Bungie literally linked to the Twitch directory page the moment Niobe Labs was launched telling players to watch the “best and brightest” attempt it."

Edited by Salamander: 1/9/2019 5:45:40 PMAnd so what? There's no reason to not watch it if I don't have the time to do it myself. It's a positive thing we have content creators for any game. It use to be a positive, community driven thing to see who would be worlds first when Vault of Glass came out. That hasn't changed. You people are acting childish. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to attack, but that is what is. Childish. I don't see anyone in the forums trying to get the forum community together to try and solve it. If you guys care so much, with all your complaining, you could be contributing to success instead.

Read the Forbes article, twitter comments ect, " community event" considering that most of the community despises this latest Bungle, out of everyone that started the "community event" barely 1% are still involved and most of those are now just viewers trying to "help" streamers. It's not childish behaviour, it's a Fkn joke, to have to refer to an obscure piece of French history to unlock a puzzle in a game behind which is content that players have paid to access, only to have to wait for a twitch streamer to run a marathon stream, putting at risk their health because of the stress, sleep deprivation ect. Personally I have not bought the annual pass, a decision I'm being fully vindicated in, given I'm 650 on all 3 characters. And I don't generally watch twitch streamers, I prefer to play the game, rather than watch someone else play.

Edited by Salamander: 1/9/2019 6:09:25 PMI could care less about what Forbes has to say. I'm certainly not saying Destiny is a perfect game. So far from even a decent game. But I'm not going to trash something just because I can't do it. And that is literally what the comments have been. If current methods aren't solving the puzzle, that means people have to think differently, think outside the box. Bungie has mishandled this game very badly, but not for content like this. Bungie drove this game into a hole with lack of content, shallowness, poor story writing, over priced DLC. I'll admit, I think $40 is too much for this annual pass because of the amount of content, which is been an issue since D1.
-
I shouldn't need a YouTube career to enjoy a -blam!-ing video game.
-
Go do the puzzle room. Streamers cant even do it so obviously it was made for casual gamers since it is apart of the 40 dollar price tag. I bought content that i can never finish without a full guide. How shitty is that eh. What a waste.

Hi Cozmo
-
Oh please man. I'm not some Bungie fan boy. There is a ton that's wrong with this shallow, content lacking game. But I'm not going to put the blindfolds on and act like everything that Bungie does is wrong. Get your head out of your butt. Instead of complaining, try playing and contributing to figuring out the puzzle. No one is stopping you but yourself.

Edited by LOGAN906: 1/9/2019 3:17:26 PMGuy, Datto, a streamer who has made D1 and D2 his job couldn't solve this after 20 hours straight with a fireteam of top tier players and an army of streamers helping with suggestions. Come on man. Can anyone go in and try, yeah sure they can obviously. Was this meant for general joe gamer to solve? No. You know that. I don't think the entire game is shit, but this.....this is some shit.
-
Good. Maybe we need content to last longer than just being able to burn through it. Then people will say there is nothing to do.
-
You're not very smart are you? Entitled to content I've already PAID for? I SHOULD also NOT need a PhD in Norse Mythology to play a game where I shoot at aliens ffs. Then yes, I suppose I am "entitled".
-
Edited by Salamander: 1/9/2019 2:37:19 PMWhat's stopping you from figuring it out then? You're clearly not very smart. We all paid for it. No one is preventing you from playing the content. Take the time and figure it out. We need more in depth content in this game rather than the hand holding shallowness that D2 started out as because of entitled people like you. If you care so much, then quit complaining and try to figure it out. With all the complaining going on, there use to be people in this community that contribute to making guides for this game so we could all try and figure these things out. Instead, it's easier to complain and lament at a YouTuber's career than to contribute yourself. It sounds like you want a world's first, but most of us including me won't be able to. I'm fine with that. I'm glad the streamers are figuring this stuff out.
-
But they're not...
-
Good. That means the content is challenging and not just something you can burn through. Then people will say there is nothing to do.
-
challenging is using what you know in game to complete an activity. This however is not that. It's based on French, Nordic and other histories that have no correlation to the game. That's why people are complaining. It's not something you could really guess or figure out yourself without massive support of others
