PC freezes while gaming Destiny

Game freezes and i have to restart PC (i7 2600k, Vega 64). Picture is just frozen on screen, the sounds continue. Sometimes i can play for a hour but mostly i can play only for few minutes until it happen. Tried to reinstall drivers (DDU and reinstall), full diagnostic of my computer (memtests, stability burn tests....), run as administrator, set priority, lowered max freq of gpu and cpu... All other games and benchmarks work fine only Destiny crashing. Last Destiny crashlog: 01.25.19 00:19:08.525 [Misc][Log] Starting 'screenshot' (unknown) 01.25.19 00:19:08.525 [Misc] 0% bug_screenshot.bmp DxDiag: https://pastebin.com/PGWBWBL7 I have game from Destiny 2 GIVEAWAY. Before this I wanted to buy DLCs... now im not sure... I feel frustrated.

  • As someone experiencing a similar issue with my lower-performance computer (it's not a potato but it wasn't made for gaming) I found that lowering the Image Resolution in Video Settings to ~70% helped. You probably have more leeway than me and can leave it higher - though based on both the screenshots I checked out before trying this and the before and after of playing, 70% looks very nearly as good as 100% If your problem isn't graphics related.... maybe the solution will work for me too? lol. Best of luck either way.

    • Hi SkakeUnPro. Thanks for reporting your issue to us. Your DxDiag indicates you keep receiving the error: MpTelemetry HardeningTelemetryDisableAS. Long story short, you may want to disable your Windows Defender, and/or make sure that it isn't blocking Destiny 2.
