Reviving cayde-6
Dear bungie please do not permanently get rid of cayde-6. He brings so much life and story into the destiny games. If you are having the actor who voices for him leave please hire someone else to voice for him, after all he is a cyborg and you can say his voice box was changed.
To all my fellow destiny players, please voice your opinion on this matter.

And I’m keep it real, I’m pissed. Not that he died, but that they used a different voice actor for him, like come one. But how he does with his new role I don’t see him coming back. Plus I really can’t handle Nolan doing Cayde.

If they bring him back good, if they don't oh well. I mainly play to get my grind fix and shoot/punching things in the face. That are my top two reasons for playing. Their order changes depending on my mood, but it is always one or the other. If I am not shooting/punching things in the face or grinding for something then I am reading about how to more effectively shoot/punch things in the face or grind. ( This most of the time involves shooting/punching to the face area ) Some times bounties have me picking flowers like a hippie. I use this time to reflect on all my loot and all the things I shot/punched in the face, and the good times we had. So have my up vote and my bump. Because I may be indifferent to your cause, I respect your manners.

Cayde has died his final death, and his ghost were destroyed. There is no coming back from that. Accept it, and move on.

I want cayde back too desperately, the game lost some of its heart without him. It needs to be Nathan fillion though one way or the other. I love Nolan north as ghost but his cayde voice acting didn’t work, he made the character too childish and I wasn’t feeling it.

Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

2 RepliesHe's dead, and he's going to stay dead as confirmed by Bungie. Honestly, I'm glad he died from an emotional aspect. His death gave me the motivation and satisfaction of progressing and completing Forsaken in my quest to avenge him. Plus, he went out in one of the most badass ways I've seen a character die in a video game in recent memory. Cayde is home with Ace, take comfort in that he is finally reunited with his son.

Cayde is coming back, with a new name and face and that's Uldren.

He's dead dead, unless we somehow pull out his memory core, take it to the Deep Stone Crypt, pull his human body out of cold storage and dump his consciousness back in there I don't see how he can return. (And even then he'd need a new Ghost to get his light back)
