Why am I paying for Last Word and also have to grind for it
I’m sorry but last I checked I got the Annual Pass because I wanted more content. New content. Biggest disappointment has been have to grind the same boring crucible gambit strikes over and over just to get a new gun or meet a power requirement so I can actually PLAY the content I’ve paid for.
Had I known Black Armoury and The Draw was going to be nothing but slow climb (like as if reaching 600 didn’t take me a while to begin with) now o have to do it all over again and if I want the new exotics I have to put up with constant punishments and setbacks for being a more casual player.
Since when have those of us who reached the endgame all the way until forsaken have to keep being knocked back so that only the jobless all-day players actually get the content. I wish o could play all day but I do have a life outside of Destiny, and I think Bungie should stop making scolding me for not committing 12 hour days to playing.
I can’t and won’t get the Last Word because it’s such a climb and I don’t have the time. What, am I meant to somehow cram in power levelling for black armoury, crucible and gambit ranking up, lost sectors and public events AS WELL AS an overdrawn grind for a hand cannon I don’t even want.
I was so excited for Thorn coming back, but now I’m just pissed — because I know just like Last Word if I want something THAT I BOUGHT, o have to put in 20+ hours as if it’s an ‘available for all’ rat king, strum, Polaris lance, sleeper simulant sort of deal — no it isn’t, give me my content, stop drip feeding.

You didn't pay for TLW, this isn't a pay-to-win game. You paid to play the game, and a big part of this game is a grind. So guess what, you paid to grind. If that doesn't suit you you probably bought the wrong game, sorry if you wasted your money.

It took me 3.5 hours. Solo the whole way through way over half of the quest is PvE to begin with.

You didn't buy any of those guns. You paid for permission to use the software. Not being good enough to overcome the challenges that the game presents isn't the fault of the developer or the publisher.

How is there any difference between the last word, izanamis burden, anarchy, Jotunn and le monarque? all of them require grinding and none of them are handed to you. i dont get how you didnt expect to have to grind in a looter shooter game.

I work fulltime, have a family with two kids with hobbies outside of gaming. Yet I still managed to grind this over the course of a week. Please stop acting like you represent the casual community becuase you do not, and stop being some entitled spoiled brat and manage your time properly.

6 RepliesYou did not buy the last word. You did not buy the sleeper, thorn or any other weapon or item in the game. You bought a licence to play the game as bungie sees fit. As such, they can make any requirement they see fit to acquire any item in the game. 2 RepliesI would die of laughter if this took you 20 hours to get. Its exactly like sleeper and polaris, available to all who have the annual pass. Its a pvp weapon dont get pissed when you need 50 kills/assists to get a pvp weapon.
